It was a fun few days staying inside the castle walls and we especially loved wandering the roads toward the end of the day when the crowds had left. Rodrigo the property owner was fantastic to work with. He was on the phone with us as we drove into Obidos, even guiding us on where to park. He even assisted us in fabulous dinner reservations. "Unit is in a comfortable and convenient area. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, kitchen and bathroom fans did not work, and main front entrance door did not lock. Bathroom seat was broken or improperly installed. Super slow stove top, hard to cook anything on it. The grill/broiler was also slow. Only way to get air in was to open the doors - no aircon and no windows. Only a small ceiling fan over the dinning room table."

"My daughter and I enjoyed out stay here during our short visit to Lisbon. We had an extremely early flight out and the close location to the airport made this the perfect place for us. The host was especially kind! The drive to downtown Lisbon was about 25-30 minutes. We suggest you park in a city parking garage near the water to visit. It was only about an hour to Fatima as well!"

"We just got back from a 4 day stay at this gorgeous house and the only thing wrong was that it wasn’t long enough!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is spotless with a well appointed kitchen and lots of space on the three levels to relax. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. And the views are incredible. The housekeeper and host are amazing. Very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. We look forward to returning to Casa Do Mar soon! Thank you!!"
