Rustic old world charm.
Our pleasant stay was helped by Pitcher, our friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge who immediately made us feel welcome. 5 mins walk from the Station was a huge bonus on a hot day. Highly recommended!

It rained a lot and the water from the river came into the lobby, but it was fun to build a bridge up to the second floor to get in and out. An old, well-maintained wooden building made me a time traveler. The hostess made me feel comfortable just like my grandmother.

The lady at the front desk was very rude. She made me pay an extra fee to have a private bathroom, something that was not explained on the Expedia booking, although, she said I was suppose to know that. Also, the restaurant was closed when we showed up. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great Place to Relax
Used this as a home base for our day trip to Ayutthaya before heading on the evening train to Chiang Mai. The guesthouse is within walking distance to the train station plus restaurants so was convenient. The area was quiet and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in making our very short stay enjoyable, even so far as to help arrange our Tuk Tuk tour into the historic area Only one comment on the stay was the steep flight of stairs to the 2nd floor. It did make carrying a large suitcase difficult.

This was a neat place to stay & was in a good location, right on the river. The room was very basic but comfortable. The owners were super nice & the food was amazing!!!

Nice hotel on the river near the station
The hotel is very easy to find just near Ayutthaya station. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. The riverside restaurant has great food. The hotel organised a personalised day tour for me and also my ongoing transport to Chiang Mai. Overall it was a very friendly and pleasant stay.

Funky, in a very good way
Some reviewers cam here looking for the suburban Holiday Inn experience - oops. At the very least, the room in which we stayed, with a bath and AC, has recently been refurbished. It was clean and fresh. This is not a 5-star experience, but we were not looking for one. And it worked out very well for us. If you want the basic room, with an OK restaurant over the river on which to have AM coffee or sip an evening Chang - just a great spot, Baan Are Gong is for you.

Hotter than a sauna with a free sickness bug.
Very basic accommodation. Air con didn't work properly and it was like a sauna in the room... Unbearably so. My daughter and I came down with a sickness bug after checking in - awful. Very close to the train station but the short walk down a dark street was full of stray dogs that really scared the children. Didn't see any of Ayatthaya.

Cheap Hotel directly on a river
For the price it is a very good hotel. It is ventage, very thing is old. In our room (deluxe) furniture have been old, bit shower, AC, fridge has been o.k. View to an old burned house. The restaurant to the river has really a nice view, food and prices are o.k.

Nice Ayutthaya Homestay
Number One thing to know is that Ayutthaya is a fun, funky river town. As far as we could tell there are no 4-star hotels here. And guess what, that's fine. That's what Bangkok and Chiang Mai are for. Chances are if you are coming to Ayutthaya, you are coming for cultural reasons. You are there for the beautiful ruins and the easy, relaxed atmosphere. Baan Are Gong is a family-run homestay with no thought of pretention. Decent restaurant with good food in their funky open air common deck overlooking the river. Grab a table and a Singha and have a friendly place to hang out. We had children with us and we felt comfortable and welcomed. Siriporn runs the show and she will take care of anything you might need. She arranged transportation, tours, and laundry for us. She is just like the mom you need. Additionally, this homestay is located right next to 3 min longtail that takes you across the river and into the island town. Too easy. Clean and simple rooms.

Decent place clse to train station
The manager of the place was nice and gave us free bananas before we. Left. Over all we had no significant problems here. The interior design was quite nice. One disadvantage was having a bed full of bugs. The other main disadvantage was not having soap in the toilets. One can of course buy soap, but not having soap in the toilet means most people aren't washing their hands and touching the door you will.be touching afterwards so... It is just not hygenic. The location was ok but on the "other side" of the river, so need a tuk tuk ride to the night market, bus station etc. But it's right by the train station which worked well for us. Motorbike rentals and food close by.

Pour le prix, c'est un hébergement sympa. Personnel trés prévenant et super pour les infos.Un peu de bruit (train et bateaux) Mais le lieux tout en bois,la maison ancienne qui a son charme, est agréable. Mais on entends tout à travers les cloisonts. Emplacement pratique. Gare, bateaux, quelques restau.

You gotta love this place!
Well-run homestay with a hostess who knows how to take care of the guests in the best possible way. Select the room with aircon for best comfort. Believe me, you don't want to go for the fan-only room in this lovely establishment. You want to go to full mile and have it all. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with utmost dedication. The location is superb for backpackers waiting for their next train to Chiang Mai, or wherever they are destined to go. The Wifi was surprisingly leopard-like fast in an old Thai style house like this. The shared bathroom is not an issue if you don't have a bad stomach and the parking space are plentiful if you are willing to walk the extra steps. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend this place, A slight deduction has been made due to very thin wall, thus you can hear every gossip from your neighbor.

駅に近いタイの古民家で、朝食が美味しいホテルです。
駅に近くて、タイの古民家の雰囲気が味わえる素敵なホテルでした。 朝食も美味しくて、楽しめました。 ただ、隣室の物音が、カーテン越しか？と思うくらい、ハッキリ聞こえます。 クレームを言ったら、エアコン付きの１クラス上の部屋に変えてくれましたが、その部屋も隣のエアコンのリモコンの音が聞こえました。 古民家の構造上、しょうがないのでしょうが、物音に敏感な神経質な人は、大変だと思います。 帰る時、飼い犬が、駅まで送ってくれて(また来てね！)って顔をしていました!

Kan varmt anbefales. Vi havde bestilt et værelse med eget bad. Sengen var godt nok lidt hård, men det gik. Det allerbedste var restauranten. Den lå lige ud til en flod og det var så afslappende at sidde der i skyggen med en let brise og super lækker mad. Ville gerne være blevet længere. Personalet var søde og sørgede for, at man følte sig hjemme. Kommer gerne igen. Lige ved siden af hotellet går der en båd over til den anden side, hvor templerne ligger. Koster kun 5 B at tage over og så er man i gåafstand til templerne.

アユタヤ駅の近く
アユタヤ観光の際に利用しました。 場所はアユタヤ駅からパーサック川へ向かう道を、駅から向かうと左に入ったところにあります。 駅からのアクセスを考えると非常によいロケーションです。 フロントが11時までです。11時を過ぎると玄関がしまってしまい、チェックインができませんので、注意が必要です。 シャワーはお湯がちゃんと出ますが、トイレと一体型のシャワールームですので、日本人としては使い方に一瞬戸惑います。

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit authentischem Flair. Freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist perfekt. Abeits vom Verkehr und mit der günstigen Fähre (5 thb) ist man schnell in der Stadt. Zimmer sind ringhörig und das Essen im eigenen Restaurant ist sättigend, aber könnte besser sein.

立地は最高です
駅を出て渡し船乗り場のすぐ近く。渡し船を重い荷物で乗船しなくてもいいので安いゲストハウス街よりも便利です。まわりにはレンタサイクルやレストランあり。 バストイレ共同ですが掃除はあまりしていないようです。お湯もぬるい。従業員は併設のレストランをやたらとすすめてきます

Great hotel with a great location
The room was clean and very nice but without AC only with fans which made it very difficult to stay in the room during the day. The shared bathroom was clean in the morning but not after a few guests (which is not the fault of the staff but the guests). The location was great with a greater restaurant in the hotel and the staff was very friendly.
