Crab Walk: Oceanside, Short Walk to Beach

Make your way to Crab Walk, a well-maintained oceanside home in laid-back Avon just a quick walk to the beach. Crab Walk is situated in the sought-after Oceanfront Estates community, where you can take a stroll or bike ride to the beach access at the end of the street. After a fun-filled day of sun, sand and waves, come home and unwind in the comfortably furnished, open-concept great room or get dinner started in the fully stocked kitchen. The living area leads out to an expansive sun deck with plenty of outdoor seating and a picnic table. All three bedrooms are conveniently located together on the mid-level. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival.

Avon is considered by many to be the center of Hatteras Island, home to more businesses than some of the neighboring villages. Despite this, Avon remains a quaint coastal town with the main attraction still being the unspoiled beaches. Crab Walk is located on the northern end of Avon, just past the 11-mile stretch of undeveloped National Seashore that separates it from Salvo. A three-minute drive south will take you to the heart of town, where you'll find the Avon Fishing Pier along with a variety of locally owned boutiques, surf shops, and dining options.

Overall a great stay

The bottom step appears to be broken or about to break:. Also, the one bed needs som serious attention when you lay on in, you roll into the middle, so with two people, it was a struggle. Overall this is a wonderful little house. The location was perfect for a peaceful get away. Beach access was close and nice walk. Coffee shops within walking distance. Would stay again!
