A little gem on the outskirts of Avola town centre. Buffet breakfast with homemade specialities. Direct walking distance to the beach or town square. English speaking lovely hosts who are very keen to answer any questions. There are local bus services for all connections to other areas to visit like Sirucusa , Noto etc and also a direct bus to Cantania airport which runs hourly: tickets are to be pre-booked at Via Dante 9 and the bus stop is just over the same square Piazza Triestre. Restaurant options in abundance and something for everyone and anywhere at various prices. Be aware that almost everything closes at 13.00 until 16.00 including supermarkets. Avola is a small lively traditional town with plenty of history and sunshine: information found at the info centre in the Piazza Umberto. A place to wind down and embrace the Sicilian way of life or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. A week is suffice.

Great renovated hotel in a small sleepy town of Avola with an easy access to free beaches, free street parking. Nice helpful hostess and her staff. Luxury rooms, good continental breakfast, quiet area for a very small price! I strongly recommend it. In case you drive a car and want to visit sights in neighboring Syracuse, do not fall for expensive options in Syracuse, stay in this hotel and simply drive very short distance to Syracuse and use historical area available parking and walk to all major sights.

Perfect place

Perfect accommodation for those wishing to explore the eastern-southern part of Sicily. 20 minutes drive to Noto and further to Modica and Scicli. The place is located 2-minute walk from Avola city centre, a lot of shops nearby and free parking on the street (easy!). The room is perfectly clean, comfy beds, fridge and kettle. Super good communication with the owner, I arrived after 20:00 and easily got into the room with directions received beforehand. I would come back :) Thank you!

My wife and I booked this B&B for our honeymoon, the price and the rooms are very good quality. We enjoyed staying here, the owner is very friendly and helped me out with a few things. He doesn’t live in the building but his mother does and she was great. She gave my wife and I some beach towels because we forgot ours at home in the U.S. I’m not 100% sure who the older woman is that cooks the breakfast every morning but it is to die for, she makes all sorts of foods for the guests in the mornings which are delicious. They arrange tables in coordination with the guests staying there. One thing that kinda bothered my wife was you cannot eat inside the rooms, we aren’t sure if that’s just a Sicilian B&B thing. Everyone that runs the B&B together, you guys are doing an awesome job making this place very pleasant place to stay, all are very kind and have great hospitality! Avola in general has a genuine Sicilian culture so i recommend anyone that wants to see what real Sicilians are like stay here its worth it, you’ll see the difference between the touristy bigger cities and appreciate the little peaceful town of Avola even more. The beach is very close and the food at every restaurant we ate in the area was very good. Just make sure you practice your Sicilian or download a good translator app because the language is much different then Italian! Syracusa, Taormina, and Mt Etna are a max hour and a half drive.

This property exceeded by far my expectations! To start they send you the self check in instructions by WhatsApp (clear and to the point including a step by step video). Location is on a relatively wide street and we were able to find a street parking spot easily and 10 mins walk to the beach. The room itself is clean and stylish. The shower space was the biggest we've seen in Sicily with waterfall shower and a great water pressure. Bed was comfy. We also had access to a very nice terrace close to the breakfast area (that included chilling cats) The only downside was that we chose a room on the ground floor (easier with the luggage) and it is very close to the breakfast area and it can get noisy. But this can easily be fixed by choosing a room on the higher floors. Thank you!

Hybla Major B&B was perfect for us. The room was clean, modern and safe as was the bathroom. The mattress was comforable, cleran and warm. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful, warm and friendly. We found good food within a few minute walk of the B&B. Great place to stay.

More than perfect! Great hosting, beautiful room

It was more then perfect. We've had been there for three nights on our honeymoon. Spent such a nice time in very spacious, freshly made beatifully-design room with bathroom. We can highly recommend it also for the breakfast - fresh cakes and Cornetto hand-made by mother of host. For couple of really warm words deserves also host, Gabriele. Not only showed us the neighborhood but also helped us with communication - took us to Cava Grande and helped to rent a car in Avola. Theoretically it is regular B&B, but in fact we felt like really being home, adorated and treated like special guests. To sum up - we not only recommend it but also promise that will come back one day!

Titolo: Un soggiorno meraviglioso ad Avola Marina! ​Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B e l’esperienza è stata assolutamente fantastica. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci siamo sentiti i benvenuti. La struttura è tenuta benissimo, tutto è molto pulito e ordinato, con camere e bagni adeguati e funzionali. ​Un ringraziamento speciale va a Gabriele, il proprietario, che è stato di una disponibilità rara: ci ha dato consigli preziosissimi su posti e spiagge meravigliose da visitare, permettendoci di scoprire angoli di Avola che non avremmo trovato da soli. ​La colazione è stata un vero fiore all'occhiello: varia e ricca, ma il vero punto di forza sono le torte di produzione propria, semplicemente buonissime! Non dimenticherò lo yogurt preparato dalla mamma di Gabriele: una persona squisita che ho avuto il piacere di conoscere e che rende l’atmosfera ancora più familiare e accogliente. ​Se cercate un posto dove sentirvi come a casa, questo è quello giusto. Consigliatissimo!

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war super!! Das Zimmer ist sauber, hell und freundlich eingerichtet, nur einen Haartrockner habe ich vermisst 😉 Die Terrasse lädt für laue Sommerabende ein. Zu Fuß in die Innenstadt und zum Strand sind es jeweils ca. 15 Minuten. Avola ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Städten auf Sizilien sauberer und hat eine menge Charme 😉
