Walks are easy to access from the door, dolphins up the road, castles, waterfalls, fossil beach on the Black Isle and always reading or games in the conservatory. "Lovely cottage but quite remote, up a very long gravel track. Thank goodness for google maps! The cottage itself is ample in size for 4, apart from the kitchen, which is tiny. It was fine for cooking pizzas, or a one pan meal, as we were just there for a weekend, but we’d have struggled to cook for a whole week. There is no wardrobe in the twin bedroom, so we had to use the back of the door for hangers taken from the double room wardrobe. The mattresses on the single beds were good quality but...

"This was a really great place. The owner is really nice and welcoming but not in your way. The property has ponies and very friendly dogs that you can interact with or not. The ponies enjoy carrots! The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. It’s a great central location for exploring the area. Highly recommended."

"The Old Police House in Daviot (East), near Inverness is a lovely property, 3 King size beds, 2 bedrooms up with a shared bathroom with tub/shower, 1 bedroom main level, 2 bathrooms with showers on main level.
