Take a trip on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre or take a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie, all of which are within easy reach. About 12 miles from Kingussie lies the Ardverikie Estate, which has been the setting for films including the BBC TV’s drama series Monarch of the Glen as well as the location for films such as The Missionary and Mrs Brown. Guidelines for using the Spa pool: To ensure optimal running of the spa pool, it is checked by the housekeeper every other day. This is to ensure the chemicals are balanced, it is clean and the temperature is correct.To keep the spa pool running smoothly we ask that you follow these guidelines -
No fake tan, body creams and moisturisers before use- No drinks to be consumed in the spa pool to avoid accidental spillage and glass breakage- Do not adjust the controls other than to switch jets on and off- No extra water is to be added to the spa pool.
A charge of £85 will be applied if the spa pool needs emptied and cleaned during or at the end of your stay as a result of not adhering to the guidelines. This may be collected by the housekeeper during your stay.
A security deposit of £250 is payable by cheque to the owner within 2 weeks of the holiday start date or for bookings within 7 days of arrival, the caretaker should be contacted to arrange this payment.
