Zilker Park Townhome (A Barton Springs Oasis)

Zilker Park Place is a multicolored two-story townhouse jam-packed with original art and loaded with all the modern amenities. Wake up in a comfy bed and head just around the corner to Barton Springs for a swim or Zilker Park for a morning jog, then cook a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen.

Located on a quiet street in 78704, which is one of the city's best neighborhoods. It's a two block walk to Barton Springs pool, botanical gardens, Zilker Park, hiking trail, food trucks and restaurants.

*One of the coolest places in Austin. Feels good. Looks good. Art and color every where.
*Exceptional Garden. Best one in the neighborhood.
*Quiet two story townhome that is part of a four-plex on a very quiet street.
* One comfy King bed upstairs with a full bath.
* Half bath downstairs and fold out queen (with memory foam found in downstairs closet)

Guest access
You can arrive any time you like 4 PM or later. There is a lock on the door with a code. When you receive the itinerary from VRBO it will include the code for the door.
Other things to note
There is a book on the coffee table with everything you will need to know about the space. You will also find an entire book of restaurant suggestions and other info. I highly recommend a car while in Austin. Public transportation is about one mile from the space.

Relaxing Visit

We stayed here while visiting our daughter. The location was perfect! Easy walk to Barton Springs Pool and also to plenty of good food options. We’d happily stay here again!

We rented a car for our Austin stay and the location of the townhouse was great for all of our activities. Kitchen met our daily breakfast and coffee needs, and the patio was great for a morning read. Would stay again.

We were in town for a wedding in Zilker Park and the location could not be beat. It was a quick uber ride to most of our destinations. The property was clean and well kept. Would stay here again!

Chistmas Time in Austin

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is centrally located in Austin so we were able to get to everything we wanted to see easily. We loved the decor and my daughter got a big kick out of the Beta fish. I would stay at this location property again next time I am in Austin for a few days.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The townhome was perfect for just the two of us and located closely to many areas in Austin we wanted to check out. Convenient and fun stay!

Me and a few girlfriends stayed here during a girls weekend recently. Parking was great for our small group and it was a fantastic central location to get around Austin. Lois was one of the best hosts I’ve had as far as communication goes. 💯 recommend for groups and people new to Austin as the guestbook was a great resource for seeing what others enjoyed during their stay!

Fun, quirky apartment in Zilker

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this funky apartment near Zilker Park. The furnishings definitely have plenty of character, and the entire place was very clean. Lois was incredibly communicative and responsive to our needs. I would certainly recommend this to any couple looking for an Austin getaway.

Awesome property!

We wife, 1 year old son, and I stayed 2 nights at this property and had a great time. Everything was as advertised. The place has a great "personality." The location is great: it's a short drive to Zilker Park, the many places to eat on Barton Springs Road, and downtown. Highly recommended! We'll try to stay here first the next time we visit Austin.

Austin girls trip

My cousins came in from Rhode Island to visit me in Dallas. We decided to ride to Austin for the weekend and this location was in the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Location is PERFECT

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and loved the location, cleanliness, and relaxed feel of the home. We were only a couple miles away from downtown/6th street. And within walking distance of Barton Springs pool and a lot of hip restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. The only down side is that we drive an electric vehicle and there wasn’t a whole lot of options for charging at the house or near by.

Home away from home!

We absolutely loved staying at Lois’ place! The location was perfect to get to all the fun Austin spots. We are a family of four, with a 12 year old and a 9 year old-we are able to share beds still so the two beds were just right! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms, and the space was very comfortable. Big time bonus for it just being really rad with lots of art and of course a fish toilet! Wish we could have stayed longer!
