The Hyatt Regency Austin was absolutely wonderful! The last phase of renovations did not impede our stay. Lakeview room with downtown Austin backdrop was beautiful! The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent! Always had a smile and eager to assist. We will be back!

This hotel is along the water. You can get on a swan paddle boat or a short walk to downtown. A beautiful well manicured park is nearby to unwind and watch the dogs play. Definitely a great place to stay.

They grossly understate the construction issues. The Bat Bar was closed which the whole trip was for the bats... the site said open thru September but... no. The TV was inoperable the entire visit. They offered a reduced fare if we extended our stay, but we have lives so we could not...nor did we want to. Maybe after they complete renovation it will be better Literally the view was the only good thing. Even the oce maker was out of service. Had to go to a different floor for ice.

Construction made it very uncomfortable. No place to get a soft drink or snack, was woke up early this morning because of construction. Bed and pillows were too har especially pillows. When you walk in lobby all we saw was construction to the right and left. We just had to go straight to our room

I was able to check in at 10am for only $4 more after arriving on the Vonlane. Perfect location for a traveler taking the vonlane to and from Austin! Rooms were exceptional as well!

When booked didn't know or was disclosed that the hotel was under construction. Drilling and banging all day. Not the family vacation i expected.

Wanted to stay on the quiet side of the river, Have chosen Hyatt Regency's in the past with the added view of the glass elevators, nice feel Unfortunately during our visit the restaurant was under construction, so the glass was covered up to hide the construction, We choose a room with a balcony, was very happy with the view and size, relaxing stay
