We are on a septic system so please FLUSH TOILET PAPER ONLY. Flushing anything other than toilet paper could cause clogging and septic system backup.
Our hot water heater is mighty but small and can accommodate a nice hot shower for about 10 minutes. After that, you'll need to wait for it to reheat.

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed during our visit to the Austin City Limits Festival. The casita was very clean and cozy, yet spacious. After long days in the sun, this was the perfect, quiet space to rest and recharge. Rachel was very kind and considerate to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed.

Cute and serene respite from the city

Cute little cabin outside of the city with immediate access to a lovely, large private pool. The cabin was clean and comfy, I slept so well! I recommend getting quick, easy meals and snacks that don’t require more than a heat up in the microwave, unless you are going out for your meals. The owners are very thoughtful and are very respectful of your privacy.

Great stay! A gem...

We are almost afraid to speak of our fabulous stay! We certainly don't wish for more folks to stay there when we want to book for our next visit to Austin! The "casita" was just as described/pictured. Very private. A lot of charm and the hosts have amenities that have been well thought out. The fenced in yard is quite large and our dog Jess had a great time as well. The hosts are great people and are clearly interested in making sure their guests have a positve guest experience. When we are next in Austin, we will be booking this place (if available!).

Oak Hill Casita

This is probably a good place for other folks, just not for us. The host was very responsive and helpful except for my message I sent that we had checked out. We didn't even get a thank you or anything. The bed is way too soft and the 10 gallon water heater was plenty for the two of us. I like watching live / real time tv which is not available. Not secluded enough enough for my liking, but as I said, probably fine for others. Access to the area is horrible right now since hwy 290 is being worked on and will be for what looks like a year or more. The host messaged us on our way down so she could turn on the a/c for us, which was very nice, asking when we were going to arrive. At the time, GPS said 3 miles out and 21 minutes because of the road construction.......geez. Not what I'm used to.

The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful! Helped us get the grill up and running and find extra lights for the pool area. Wish it had a stove/oven but there was a grill available so we adapted and grilled all our dinners. Would stay again!

I stayed with my partner and two dogs (with prior permission) and it was a great spot. Rachel was always quick to respond if we needed anything, and the house and pool were clean. The dogs loved the big yard and it was very secure. Would definitely recommend!
