"Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

"Really well situated - just on the edge of the Bastide and about 15 minutes walk from the walled town. Lovely home with a small pool and excellent outdoor kitchen. It had all the facilities we needed. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"We enjoyed the property’s location — walking distance to the medieval town and very close to the Monoprix grocery store. Very clean and good modern amenities including a great kitchen. Parking at Parking Centre-ville was really good and reasonable / free for most of the weekend for example."

"The house is stunning, so much room for a large group, we had 3 generations together. The pool was great, the kids loved the table football, pool table, darts and table tennis. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bbq and plancha were well used. The house was spotlessly clean and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. The air conditioning and black out blinds were a welcome feature! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"La Jasso is a stunning propert with amazing mod cons and great grounds with a pool, children playground and a small animal holding which is perfect for young kids to keep entertained. It is a 15mins walk to the medieval castle. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the laundry room, making it a very convenient home to home option."

The apartment itself had everything we needed and included a nice private balcony which added to the ambience. We would definately choose to stay again if we are back in Carcassonne. (Do try The food especially Fred’s signature apple cake.) Apartment comfortable and great for a few days rest half way through out our around France. The 48 steps to the flat plus 18 to the bedrooms will keep you fit! Enjoyed Carcassone and La Cite. A great stay!"

"Location is excellent. We rented a car and travelled to Monticello Carlo, Cannes, and Marseille. Visited several wine houses in the area Limouix etc. Recommend Le Table de la Vatican and Le Divine Comedie near the rental. The rental is large and building old which offers character and takes you back in time But it needed to be aired out-musty; it was cold but host was unable to change and no smart tv. Overall, a good place to stay"
