Breathtaking views! Very clean and accommodates our family nicely. Also close to a few wineries, breweries and food.

Cayuga Sunsets
Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Kayaking was enjoyable, and the closeness to Ithaca and Aurora gave us a lot to do. The interior cleanliness and style of the house was just fine. We had no complaints there at all. The main problem was the three lovely decks around the house were not kept up. A power washing would help. Chairs were shown on the upper deck in the picture but were not there when we arrived. The two chairs on the dock level were unusable. The middle level was furnished fine with two nice tables and a grill, however, upon arrival, everything was covered with bugs, and I didn’t feel that it was up to me to clean the tables, so we never used the nice deck. The kayaks were in good condition so we had a lot of fun with them. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. Just remember that parking is tight on each side of the house.
When we arrived the house was 90 degrees, the downstairs air conditioning unit was not working. We called and someone supposedly came out Saturday while we weren’t home. When we returned it still was not fixed and when we called again we did not receive a return call. It was the hottest week of the summer, so air conditioning would have made our stay a little better. We paid a pretty steep cleaning fee and the outside decks and furniture were covered in bugs, dirt and cob webs. Spiders everywhere. The inside was cleaned well, no complaints there. The views were amazing and we enjoyed our weekend getaway but the house could definitely be more well maintained.
Beautiful house, just that windows were not locked upon entering. Also window in dining area needs some love, we couldn't lock it. It's just what we needed.
The location, property, and towns surrounding this house are wonderful. However, the cleanliness of the property both inside and outside could be heavily improved. We had to wash dishes before we could use them. Spider webs and bugs were all over inside and outside the house.
The house was clean and fine inside. The lower outer deck was filthy and unusable to sit outside to enjoy the lake view. Parking was very tight and difficult for even one car. The showers were either scorching or freezing with nothing in between. There was clearly no one staying before us and the rental company would not let us enter even a moment before the 4 pm check-in time, even though I called 6 hours earlier. It was very expensive for what we got. We will not be returning.
I have wrote to the host 3 times never got a response!!! Porch was disgusting furniture old and dingy! No chairs on top porch 4 birds nest on decks getting traumatized by birds all weekend! Dish washer leaked all over floor sink was plugged with dirty water air conditioner was broke downstairs it was 80 degrees the whole time I took my father for his 70th birthday. I was so embarrassed, I reached out to host no answer all weekend I have rented lake houses for the last 5 years and this was the worst experience I have ever had
