"The property is lovely and the pool is great. The room was very dated. Non of our beds were made, there were no shampoos or bodywash..only hand soap for the sink. The kettle had chunks of white gunk coming out of it when we tried to make a cup of tea. I tried repeatedly to contact the hotel regarding our reservation with little to no reply. The manager said she would look into it for us after we checked out a day early, but we still haven't heard anything."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We came into Bayeux for a Normandy tour. The hotel is centrally located; an easy walk to the town center, the train station, and the pick up location for the tours. The staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was amazing. All the food was freshly cooked and there was a wide variety of food options. Nothing like a homemade breakfast to start the day. If you have the chance stay here; we recommend this hotel without reservation."

One small thing - breakfast was good but expensive - I would probably skip it next time and eat off-property."

"Good location but I stayed at the “jardin” part of the hotel which was a bit confusing at first. When I checked in at the main location they sent me a long way around ( and I was carrying a 25 pound backpack). I only discovered by accident a shorter route. I probably walked an extra 500 meters."

"This was truly a wonderful and special stay. The hotel and property was beautiful and peaceful and close enough to d-day and other WW2 sites, Bayeux and other towns for getting out and exploring.
