Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, gerade so als ob das Objekt eben erst in Betrieb ging und wir die ersten Gäste sind. Leider war unser Apartment konstruktionsbedingt (Innenausbau als Trockenbau) etwas hellhörig, aber wir waren eh nur zum Schlafen und Frühstücken da. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"The owner made an incredibly sensitive reconstruction of the building that is placed in idyllic countryside. Two bedrooms and the two-floored living room that includes the full equipped kitchen make you feel very comfortable and airy. Old beams and pure and minimalistic style meet naturally. What beautiful days we experienced there!"

"The location was absolutely fantastic with everything we needed just a short walk away, and we really liked the convenience of the electronic entry system, no keys to worry about. The shower and kitchen were perfectly fine, too. That said, the room itself was a bit disappointing. The bed creaked with every tiny movement, the blinds were worn and let in a lot of light, and the pillows were like saggy sacks of cotton, making for a pretty uncomfortable sleep. "The owners were suuuppppper nice, had tips for us, always responding and helpful. The place is in gorgeous quiet area. You cannot walk from there anywhere, you need your transportation. We were on motorcycles - gas station was 3 min away, right next to it was a beautiful grocery store, that can get you started. Then you just have to know the area and what you want to visit. Town is very close as well, I think like 10 min, with some cafes and restaurants but we weren't there for that, just aware...

"We really enjoyed our stay on the castle property! The rooms were very clean, service was attentive and prompt, and access was easy. The castle exterior is impressive and has been well-kept. The castle interior is now more of an exhibition space than anything resembling castle quarters or museum. But again, that is the castle. The hotel rooms themselves were ornate, clean, and beds were comfortable. We reserved one of the bridal suites, so we had an abundance of space. Overall, it was an excellent value for money spent. Oh - and the breakfast was impressive! Eggs, bacon, breads, lots of fruit, and excellent coffee/cappuccino (of course!). Delicious! And the dining hall felt very much like it was part of a castle... a fun experience. Thank you!!! If we are ever in the region again I would not hesitate to stay at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach hotel. :-) -Andrew Braun"
