"The host is incredible to communicate with, and the house is perfect for offering space with great river getaway amenities. At first we weren’t sure of which guests would hunker down where for the week, but quickly decided the downstairs rooms and the upstairs #2 bedroom attached to the front den function like two mini apartments in the home - great for couples and those with littles! Plus the beds are awesome, especially at the end of a long day of adventuring!"

Dearborn River Log Cabin with 3/4 mi River Frontage & 72 Acres to Roam

10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is incredibly peaceful, quiet, and a great place to truly get away from everything. The week we visited was very hot, but opening the windows at night and sleeping on the first floor kept the interior temperature manageable. The first floor has two rollaway beds and one pull-out couch, so there are several sleeping options downstairs. If you have a larger group, though, someone will likely end up sleeping upstairs, where it can get pretty warm during hot weather.I would definitely recommend an AWD or 4x4 vehicle for the drive in. The property is several miles down a dirt road with some fairly significant elevation changes, so having a capable vehicle makes the trip much easier. The river was very low during our stay, so unfortunately we weren’t able to catch any fish. Even so, sitting down by the river and fishing with no one else in sight is a memory I won’t forget. If you’re looking for a secluded place to unplug, relax, and get away from people and technology for a while, I highly recommend this property. It takes a day or two to adjust to being disconnected, but once you do, it’s a really enjoyable and memorable experience."
