It's only minutes' drive from the Augusta National, Home of the Masters and in the path of the Annual Ironman 70.3 Competition.

The historic district (also known as "Olde Town") owes its name either to the corseted ladies' fashions of the 19th-century, or to a hungry period following one of the Savannah River's floods. There are bicycle rentals less than 5 minutes away, kayak rentals and jet ski rentals by the marina only 2 minutes away and other outdoor activities by the Augusta Canal.

The neighborhood architecture survives in one of the best places in the South to see every building style from Federal to Craftsman style homes that survived the great fire of 1916--only an 8 minute walk to downtown where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars such as The Boll Weevil Cafe and Sweetery and many more. Only within 13 minutes (5.9 miles) from the Augusta National Golf Club's (The Masters), and within 28 minutes (15.2 miles) from Fort Eisenhower Army Installation. Plant Vogtle is about 30 minutes away and SRS Savannah River Site is about 20 minutes away. It's also walking distance to the Ironman 70.3 Challenge.

The second offers a full size bed that shares the hallway bathroom. The shared spaced include the living room area, a fully stocked kitchen with essentials, private fenced in back yard with lots of space. This is a sweet little house in Olde Town Augusta. We were in town to visit our old stomping ground and see friends. Having lived in Olde Town for 17 years, we were quite familiar with the area and this place totally fit the bill in size and location. The beds were quite comfortable and the barhroom had a roomy stand up shower. Communication with the host both before and during our stay was very smooth. We would definitively stay here again.

The house was nice and clean and we didn’t have to ask for much things. Yuri was very responsive and helped give information on things to do and how to access the house. There’s also a driveway to park the car. Plenty of parking on the street. It’s also very centrally located to downtown and the bars as well as other locations

Sweet place, good location

Great location for me to get to Fort Gordon. River walk and local shops on Broad Street, Phinizys Swamp all close by. The kitchen was missing some items (e.g. dish soap, drinking cups) but had hand soap and wine glasses, so we improvised 😁. There is no cable or system to use streaming, unless you have your personal device. We were busy with being out so that was less of an issue. I wish there was recycling! The checkout time is unclear, so we left before 10 just to be safe. Overall, it was pretty comfortable and I would recommend it for sure.
