Only 10 mins or 3.5 miles from the National, our beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom stucco home in Midtown, Augusta is also a stone’s throw from the best coffee shop in town (Buona Cafe), as well as across the road from a newly opened pizza joint/drinking well (Soul City Pizza).

The open plan feel of the living spaces allows for relaxing downtime after a long day on the course! The cozy couch provides a perfect place to catch up on the day’s happenings, while the rest of the living area affords itself to take in those beautiful spring evenings.

The fenced in yard is the perfect place to enjoy the lovely spring weather while sitting around a pit fire and/or having a refreshing drink!

Close to all amenities, including only a 6 minute drive from the vibey Downtown area, makes this little house the perfect place to stay while visiting Augusta during the Master’s.

What's nearby

  • Home of Freeman Walker, outstanding citizen of early Georgia. Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Freeman Walker, in 1826, deeded 70 acres of land to the United States Government to be used as an arsenal-the site now of the Junior College of Augusta. He reserved one acre as a family burial ground, known as the Walker Cemetery. He was the father of Maj. Gen. W. H. T. Walker, CSA. Admitted to the bar in 1802, he followed a life of public service; City Attorney for three years and Mayor of Augusta 1817-19, being the first to hold the city´s chief executive office under the name of Mayor, and Brigade Inspector of Gen. Valentine Walker´s brigade in 1813. He represented Richmond County in both branches of the State Legislature and represented Georgia in the U. S. Senate. His speech on the Missouri Compromise attracted nation-wide attention. He died in 1827 and is buried in the Walker Cemetery.

Perfect Masters Location

Our hosts spared no expense in making our visit very personal and the location is perfect. Right next to a darling coffee house and less than 10 minutes from Augusta National. House was very comfortable.

Phenomenal House, Host, and Location

We enjoyed ourselves immensely, the hosts went above and beyond to welcome us with drinks, a Masters catalogue, detailed instructions, and great communication. House was clean, comfy, and welcoming with a great location (Midtown Tavern was a great place to just walk across the street after getting home from the Masters). We thank the hosts again and look forward to returning

Great place in a great location

This is a great place to stay whether you’re going to The Masters or visiting Augusta and need access to the surrounding area. Exceptionally clean and great communication with the host. I would definitely stay here again.

Masters experience

Very quaint , homey atmosphere. Nice welcoming touch , fresh coffee beans, a bottle of white and red wine, beer and granola bars ! Had problems with TV , getting the Masters on , but we were able to resolve . Loved the coffee shop next door . Very convenient location . I would recommend this place .

Masters weekend

Lovely cozy house minutes from Augusta national. Owner stocked house with snacks and drinks including beer and wine. 4 of us used two of the 3 bedrooms and plenty of room. Great coffee house next door to start our day.
