Morning light filters through the dome as mist drifts across the mountains, and the night sky unfurls a blanket of stars above you. The quiet of the woods invites you to slow down, sink into the warmth of the heated mattress topper, and feel completely immersed in the landscape. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub after a day on the trails or curled up by the TV with the view beyond the windows, the rhythm here is unhurried and grounding.
Sleeping arrangements
The dome sleeps two guests in a king bed positioned for restful nights, complemented by a heated mattress topper that stays cozy on cooler evenings. The open layout lets the sleeping area flow seamlessly into the living space, creating an intimate yet spacious feel.
Bathroom & comfort
A full indoor bathroom with a shower lets you freshen up without stepping into the cold. Bathroom essentials are provided for convenience. Heating keeps the dome comfortable through winter nights, while air conditioning is available for warmer days. Wi‑Fi supports streaming and video calls, and a TV offers a relaxed way to wind down after sunset.
Kitchen & dining
A compact kitchen space lets you prepare simple meals and snacks. Brew coffee in the morning or cook an easy dinner after exploring the area, then enjoy your meal at the indoor table or on the deck while taking in the mountain views.
Outdoor living
Step onto the private deck to soak in panoramic mountain vistas that shift with the light. The hot tub is a standout feature year‑round, with steam rising into the crisp air as you soak beneath the stars. A fire pit nearby creates a natural gathering spot for evenings, and the backyard connects you directly to the surrounding woods. Free parking and a private entrance make coming and going simple.
Setting & surroundings
Serenity Base is part of the 37‑acre Cooper Mountain private retreat, with two other domes nearby but your own deck, hot tub, and fire pit reserved for your stay. The dome sits beside a nature preserve offering wooded trails and open areas to explore. You may notice occasional leaves, pollen, or small insects—especially during seasonal transitions—but regular cleaning keeps the space welcoming.
Exploring the area
Within about 20 minutes you’ll find hiking, fishing, hunting, lake swimming, and white‑water rafting opportunities. After a day in the elements, returning to the warmth of the dome feels especially rewarding.
Perfect for
Guests who appreciate quiet surroundings, nature immersion, and a glamping experience that balances comfort with outdoor adventure. The dome welcomes you to unwind, explore, and reconnect with the mountain landscape.

We are adventurous foody travellers. And this place was just what we needed after a two day long trip of outdoor adventures. We coukdnt have asked for a better private, remote, and beautiful place in the lap.of mother nature. Absolutely Mesmerizing and Relaxing. Dont think twoce...Go for ahead and BOOK IT !
My husband and i shared our honeymoon here together. It was perfect! The owner was so wonderful and the place is super special. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the mountains and couldn't have asked for a better time.Being able to lay in bed and view the stars was so great. We were lucky enough to see the meteor shower from the hot tub. Normally when we stay at a place the grill is gross and not usable...but here it was not the case and we got to grill an amazing meal using local food. When i searched for places in the area to stay this was one of the first that popped up and it was so unique that we had to go. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back and many of our friends are excited to check it out, too!
Perfect for relaxing and escaping the stresses of everyday life. Comfortable, clean, and very accommodating for our needs. Host Tony was excellent with quick responses to my questions. Even people who live on Coopers Mtn welcomed us as they drove by us as we walked. Out stay at Serenity Base met all our expectations!
We loved staying here. We wanted to experience the luxe dome. It exceeded all our expectations. The bed was so comfortable and being able to look out at the night sky and the dawn while still laying there was so restful. The company was so helpful. We had an issue with the hot tub. They had a maintenance man there the next day. We received correspondence from them concerning our stay giving recommendations and asking if any problems. We were very impressed with their professionalism. We had picked this area because we wanted to do a little leaf peeping and to ride the Potomac Eagle. We plan to definitely come back. Only considerations just know there is only a small refrigerator so maybe have a cooler if have a lot of food that needs to be cold.
