Cozy Cottage on Togus Pond
2 bedroom, one bathroom, sleeps 5-6
This bright, cozy cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is fully equipped for all of your vacation rental needs.
Worromontogus Lake (Togus Pond) is scenic with coves, islands, and woods. There are over 643 acres of water with a rocky shoreline. The "pond" boasts six sizable islands with many smaller ones to explore. The water is clear and great for swimming. Additionally, it is well stocked with bass, large and smallmouth, and white perch, so bring your fishing poles! A public boat launch has been added, which makes Togus Pond great for boating and jet skiing as well! Nothing is more enjoyable than sitting by the fire pit listening to loons at night on Togus Pond.
Togus Pond is located in Augusta, the capital of Maine. Local activities include hiking, golfing, antiquing, blueberry/strawberry/apple picking, fairs/festivals (throughout the summer and fall seasons), and more. For those local craft beer lovers, the Cushnoc Brewery Annex is less than 5 miles away!

This was our second stay on Togus Pond. We enjoy the home and the quiet area. The home owners are very kind and communicate quickly. We look forward to staying there again.
Very cute cottage right on the pond. Perfect for a family of 4. Excellent neighbors that are friendly and there to help. Highly recommend and we will come back.
We booked a last minute 4 night get away with our two teenage boys for the 4th of July and we had a great time. The cottage was a perfect size and very cozy. The lake was beautiful and the kayak’s and paddle board got plenty of use while others enjoyed fishing. Great location where we were close enough to be able to go check out town, go for hikes and take a day trip to Acadia. Loved the neighborhood on the lake!
We stayed 3 night for the Ironman race in Augusta. It was perfect for a family of 4. Kids loved the lake and paddle board. We make s’mores by the water. The brewery was close and Augusta was 11 min away. The place is clean and quiet. No AC unit in the kids bedroom but they slept fine in July.
This camp on Togus Pond is incredible. The neighborhood is quiet and the pond is peaceful. We enjoyed afternoons sitting on the dock catching the sun and going for swims. The pond is excellent for kayaking. We used the fire pit to make s'mores. The camp is simply perfect. There are plenty activities in the surrounding area if you want to go out on an adventure. The host communicates well and responds quick. This is a great place.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cute and really gives you an authentic lake experience in Maine. It was equipped with everything you would need. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and sunsets. We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay very much at this cozy camp by the lake. We used the kyack in the lake and fished off the dock. Highly recommended and will stay again.
We throughly enjoyed our vacation. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean with nice linens and towels. We loved the front yard with the fire pit and direct access to the water. The fishing was excellent and there are great areas to explore on a kayak.
We had a truly wonderful time. The kids loved the canoes and paddle board. Gorgeous views of the lake and quiet location. The cabin was as pictured and described.
We found Jill's house to be cute and comfortable. We loved that the home included a paddle boat and kayaks. A perfect getaway for a family to relax and enjoy the lake!
A sweet cabin on Togus pond! The view can’t be beat! Love the porch and outdoor seating, as well as access to kayaks and a dock. Wish the master had a larger bed- it was very cozy during hot weather 😜. We will definitely be back!
Just the perfect house with an amazing spot on the lake! The water was clean, clear, and great for swimming! The fishing was excellent. The paddle boat was so fun to take out and do more fishing or just go on a little excursion! The house had everything we needed and we felt so comfortable and welcomed! We will definitely be back!
We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Jill made sure we had everything we needed, and we were pleasantly surprised with S'more makings on arrival! The cottage was cute, clean and set up for life on the water with 2 kayaks, a paddleboat, and life jackets. The water was clean and clear, and we loved sitting around the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs for hours. We look forward to coming back!
