We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years, and unfortunately this time will probably be the last. I believe some of the rooms have been redone, but we were given an old room that is certainly overdue for a makeover. We were a family of four - and the room had three of everything. Three forks, three glasses - and on occasion housekeeping only left three towels. Very frustrating. Housekeeping was terrible - they replaced things but did not clean. We also had no tea towel the entire time we were there - it has a full kitchen in the apartment but no tea towel. To get a hot tray out of the oven I had to use a bathroom towel. Very strange. We were on the port side of the building and although it was not a major issue, there is a daycare next door - and those little screaming voices bounce and echo off the high rises around you and it’s not that nice being woken up by screaming toddlers before 8am when you are on holiday. It didn’t happen daily - but it was annoying when it did happen. Location is great, easy to get to Queen Street, convenient access to Woolworths, and easy to get onto motorway to travel west, north or south. Lovely drive to Mission Bay Area. It’s really a prefect location for visitors to Auckland. The staff were a mixed bunch. Not overly friendly or helpful, but not rude. They need to be reminded a bit about customer service - it’s nice to say good morning, or have a nice day to guests staying in hotel.

From the moment we entered the doors, we felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We saw the sign easily from street and could walk easily over. Great location and staff amazing

Good size studio apt, clean, well located. Good food options close by as well as a Woolworths store if you want to self cater. Our room has kitchen facilities and washer and dryer for laundry. Excellent for walking to shops, harbour, museums. We also have a balcony with chairs .

Very nice for a one night stay, very handy to the spark arena which is why we stayed at this property (for a concert). The only downside I had was the room we were in being so close to other suites. (I think this is the case for all rooms at the property) I was woken up at 5am due to the people in the room next to us going in and out of their room and therefore the door was constantly banging and crashing and it shook the whole of our room every time. That was the only downside I had for this stay.

Convenient location with handy parking, spacious rooms, and a great shower! Not much available food-and-drink-wise. Limited cafe hours and no room service. Clean and comfortable, and staff were very helpful. Supermarket, gym and ferries are all nearby.

Probably the worst experience I've had. Asked about 3-4 times just to take care of some rubbish. Barely made the bed and tossed us a garbage bag with utilities. No pool. Never got to eat at the dinner area cause it was always closed. Balcony was not a balcony. it was just an outdoor section covered in bird residue, with a lovely view of a flag. I would give one star but the hotel itself was quite clean.

Very good location for Spark Arena. Room was average. There were 3 people in our party but extra bed was not there on arrival. Sofa, chair and cushions not very clean. When I opened the wardrobe door to look for extra bedding, the door came off, I put the door to one side and told reception, it wasn’t fixed when we left. We also paid for late check out but when we came back to our room at 2pm we had been locked out, thankfully someone was able to let us in. The receptionist told me that door keys reset at 1pm. Late check out is 3pm. This should have been fixed at their end without me having to follow up.

Lovely and clean and friendly staff. Wotif need to update their address for this hotel as when we pressed the map on their details for GPS it guided us to 40 Beach Rd, NORTH SHORE, Auckland instead of 40 Beach Rd, AUCKLAND CENTRAL. A 40 minute round trip to get to correct address!!!!! Not good enough Wotif. Couldnt fault the hotel staff when we rang to ask for directions and tell them what had happened. Rooms were very clean and good and instruction were great. Could be improved by a folder with instruction for Wifi, Air Con, and TV etc as there was nothing in our room. Please update your data immediately Wotif.
