Absolutely awesome. Would highly recommend. Great location, clean environment, nice ambiance, and friendly people. We even got welcomed with a personalized card, upgraded to a room with a view and Easter chocolate.

We stayed at the Airedale suites at Queens street for 3 short nights .we found it to be a great location in Auckland CBD , friendly and helpful staff with a smile however , the we found the rooms were left uncleaned for the 3 days . The toilets and vanity and the mirror all left dirty which was a huge disappointment for us . After a long day of activities and sight seeing , we would come back to uncleaned amenities and that didn’t leave a great impression on us.

Really reasonable price for the location and the staff was really friendly and flexible with our changing plans. The whole experience was super easy and no stress which I don’t tend to get as a young person trying to organise accommodation. The room was spacious and clean with everything you’d need and more. Would definitely recommend!

Second time at this hotel great location and great rooms. Pity that there appeared to not be enough staff for breakfast, with over 1/2 wait for the order to be taken, thus no coffee while waiting for the order to be taken. On the upside it is not a buffet breakfast. Food was great and worth the wait.

This hotel is in a great location for walking along Queen Street for shopping and dining. Our room was very comfortable - although the bathroom was a bit small. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. From keeping our luggage early to arranging an early take-away breakfast for us, they were always pleasant and helpful. Do yourself a favor and eat at the restaurant - the food was fabulous! Just be sure to get to breakfast early, they get pretty busy after 9.

They haven't actually finished construction. Prepare to be woken by drilling and saws in the morning. You can hear next door, VERY clearly. And the small rooms, are absolutely tiny. As they haven't finished construction, the walls are covered with dust etc. The lighting in some of the rooms is very poor (way too bright, poor placement etc). The location is great. And the price is very decent. I imagine, if they change a few lightbulbs, and give the place a clean, it will get there.

The property is a good value and in a good but noisy location, but deserves a 3-star at best. The ONLY person waiting on a long check-in line was impolite and unwilling to text us when the room was ready, even though we were told it would be at least 1 hour later than normal check-in. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and helpful. The room had a >6' diameter pole between the bed and the bathroom, so I rate room design as poor. Overall, for USA citizens, think Holiday Inn, because it is on par with that.

The hotel itself was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. Just be aware that there are extensive roadworks in Auckland and Uber drivers may feel uncomfortable driving directly to the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the Airedale. I found it to be a great location and easy to enjoy a stroll down the main street towards the water. You can check out all the restaurants and shops along the way. While staying here I was picked up by one of the local guides for a day tour so that seems doable for most of the tours. My room was nice and clean, quiet and the staff very professional and kind. I had 2 really good breakfasts while staying at Airedale and opted to pay extra in advance so that I didn’t have to deal with it in the morning. I think it is less expensive to pay while booking the room. You choose your specific breakfast and beverage item off the menu and they make it fresh rather than a traditional buffet. This is a good idea and they have a variety that will likely satisfy most guests. The only thing missing for me is a gym which I did know in advance. I would recommend this hotel while staying in Auckland.

This was a really great find on Expedia. Right on the main shopping street about 15 min walk to the waterfront or nearby parks. Very quiet, large suite, very clean and modern with key card access to the elevator for safety. Rate was good and included a la carte breakfast in the good restaurant downstairs. Lots of international fast food places nearby as well as great French bistro two blocks south. There is a lot of construction (new subway) in the area, but no noise while I was there. Nespresso machine, fridge, and dishwasher in the room (!). A winner.
