The toilet seat was broken and wobbled when used. The lighting in the room was of poor quality. I couldn't read inside. The fridge had a very loud noisy click at odd times. Just a few simple things that could be fixed without too much cost. Otherwise it was fine.

I haven't stayed in a motel for quite some time so could be the normal these days but there was no complimentary soap shampoo etc. Also the fridge was completely frozen up. There was no cooking facilities in the unit - however the staff were very accomodating & got me an electric fry pan to use. He also bought a container of ice for our drinks & got the TV working. Lovely comfortable bed. Otherwise a very clean unit.

Lovely big beds, nice and quiet, close to beaches. The place can do with a spruce up. We didn’t use the TV, Followed the suggestions from the book but couldn’t get it to work. It wasn’t a big problem as we were out a fair bit and internet connection was good so we used our tablets.

Lovely stay
Bed was super comfortable, kitchenette was adequate, could have used a towel rail in the bathroom, shower water pressure was really good. Enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was pleasant too

The best part of our stay was the pub quiz in the hotel bar. Very open and friendly staff. The Salty Dog Inn had the perfect location for us and was comfortable and exactly what we needed.

Room was just what i needed. My throughts the tv is in the wrong place. Needs to be on the wall facing bed and couch. More to middle of the room. Curtains need attention I was in rm 4

Booked for one night as was meeting up with family. The room was so musky and smelt really bad had to ask for incense to try to get rid of smell which didnt help for long.We were in room downstairs could hear all noise from upstairs. Would not recommend this place no upkept and very outdated and will not stay here again. We are not moaners and run a business ourselves but clients need to know about this place.
