Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Receptionist not very friendly and check in was only moderate.

It is understandable you were asked for your ID upon check in to confirm the details to which you did not have your ID with you. Please be advised for future reference that we always ask for Credit Card and ID to confirm the identity of our guests staying with us and is a regular practice for most Hotels. Everything was really good. Very clean, friendly staff and easy location. Only downside is the awkward parking spots and people taking your carpark

We were given a car park number which simply didn’t exist and which made us drive around for some time trying to find it.

Property is fairly new. Very clean and tidy. But the shower head holder was loose, not screwed to the wall properly. The toilet roll holder was also loose. The sink plug did not work and the sink hot and cold water was reversed.

Close to work, and also that although there was not initially parking available, the team managed to come up with a parking space for me when they saw my note about how late I was going to be arriving back - which I really appreciated.

Noisiest room with a very local bar playing till 3.30! Should be advertised as having close by music bar with room details. Room was clean and warm, not very good water pressure in shower.

Hello, thank you for your feed-back. We're glad to hear that you found the room clean and warm but sorry about the noise from next door. The Brook bar is normally only open during the week days and they've promised not to make any noise late at night. Have they got any events on, they normally inform us as well so we can move guests further down however it seems to have slipped their mind. I've forwarded your comment to them and asked for an explanation and I thank you for pointing this out. By the way, please do not hesitate to contact our Duty Manager if any issues as we would have done what we could to help you out either ask the bar to stop the music or moved you away from it. Thank you and take care.

Hectic Auckland with quiet Highbrook stay
Clean tidy well appointed room, really easy to find in Auckland. Not too far from the motorway. Commercial area, so not too much traffic in the weekend. Still need to drive to get food, shopping etc. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this hotel was too
