The entry to this motel is from the Beach Rd which has the motorway exit and entrance right there Way overpriced for what it is

It is one of the best motels I have stayed in South Auckland. You can visibly see that these owners take pride in their business. The cleaning staff were accommodating and friendly. I am going to book again for next weekend as we have a wedding to attend in Pukekohe but will much rather stay at the Colonial Motel.

Friendly people who made us feel welcome. Clean and tidy. Had everything we required as far as amenities were concerned. It was relatively quiet given it was on a main road.

Location is brilliant, close to motorway on/off ramp. Very clean, recently refurbished. I will be back!

2nd time ive stayed here. Very inconvenient to the motorway. Nice and clean. The man who owns this place is very nice and pleasent. If you want easy motorwar access i recommend this place. During peak traffic times you will need to turn left and then left at traffic lights, do a u turn, turn right at lights then get in correct lane for motorway north or south.

We were nicely surprised at how much actually liked this place. Was clean, tidy, spaceous enough for us and had a kitchen with oven which we thought was a bonus. Staff and owners very helpful and polite. We will definitely be back.

The only reason i booked this hotel is because it promised a free swimming pool to relax in. Me and my daughter had our togs already packed then were told after we booked in that the pool had beem re painted and was empty. No warning before hand and no offer of a discount. I asked about breakfast in the morning as its stated on the motel room wall and the lady knew nothimg about it. We had no barh gowns and no real luxaries except for wifi and a tv and the room was tiny. I wouldnt be complainkmg about this at all if it didnt cost me almost $200. I have been to much nicer motels for the same price or even cheaper rhan this. Would not recommend

No COFFEE in unit, pillows were uncomfortable and free wifi was very weak and kept dropping off so not good to use. Very bad place to get into as on very busy road. Definely not good value for dollars and wouldn't recommend to my friends.

The motel is situated on a main highway and was extremely noisey all night. It needs double glazed windows. I also found my room very dark. The power kept over loading and cutting out when I was drying my hair. The staff were very friendly.

Nice hotel - everything we needed.

Dissapointing
Travelling through town & needed a place for the night. Called motel & was told that they only had one room, which was $175/night. I went online & found it for $118 on Expedia. When I arrived, I was learned they had many rooms available. Why lie to me? Motel was very loud, due to close proximity to a major road. Will never stay there again.

Hi Matt, thank you for your review. It is regrettable to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. You may have mistaken the price of our super king room with another from elsewhere. We do not have any rooms for $118. Also, we keep prices consistent between our website and Expedia. In terms of availability, Expedia was correct to have only one super king room available as we only have one of that type.

Ideal to visit family nearby.
Very friendly staff. Clean and met our needs. Street noise was noticble but didn't affect our sleep/rest. Central to what we wanted and would consider staying again.

Handy Location to Papakura.
An old type motel, but okay for the price. There was quite a bit of road noise at night, as it is right beside the motorway. They said each unit had a hair dryer, but there wasn't one in our unit. They also advertised that there was Sky TV, but we couldn't find it on our TV. While my wife was looking for a hair dryer, she found an empty box that had contained an adult sex toy in the bedroom drawer, so they need to check those more often. Other than that, it was clean, and tidy, and we were fairly happy with our 2 night stay.

We only spent one night after getting in late to Auckland. We thought there was going to be continental breakfast available, but apparently not during winter season. Not a big deal. Overall, very nice place that is convenient to Route 1.

On a main road ,too noisy,one small heater in the room,no heater in the bathroom. It was freezing.you couldn't just sit in the room after about 3.30pm as it was too cold.i had to get into the bed and put the electric blanket on to warm up. Breakfast is advertised but no menus given to choose just a verbal from manager which didn't tell me what sort of cereal or fruit etc. the hotel was not full but we were put right up the end in an older room,not sure why. Tv only had minimal sky channels.

Neat but Noisy
The reception staff are very welcoming on arrival. The room had plenty of space and basic facilities. Unfortunately being located right on a main road/intersection to motorway it was Very noisy. There is a pedestrian crossing whish constantly beeps through the night. The traffic itself is noisy, but then add Auckland's Emergency Services throughout the night - that have to sound their sirens as they approach an intersection. so sadly, we were unable to get much sleep. The bed was very hard! I realise everyone's tastes and comfort levels are different - but it wasn't for me. So if you like a hard mattress, then this is for you.

Spacious Unit
Nice spacious 2 bedroom unit. Recently renovated. 3 of us stayed there. We enjoyed our stay therr. One evening we had visitors for tea. It sleeps 6 but unfortunately only had enough utensils and crockery for 3 which was an inconvenience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool nice and clean.
