Thanks Rob, glad you did enjoy your stay... the studios do get quite warm at this time of the year due to the sun being a little lower. We are investigating the possibility of aircon as we speak...so hopefully next time you stay !! :)

Dear Patricia, If i may comment on your review with all due respect and thank you for choosing to stay with us. With regards to the location, i am disappointed you felt we were some distance from Cable Bay Winery as i would think that i could throw a bunch of grapes from your very deck and hit the roof of the premises, CBW is no more than 100m as the crow flies and less than 400m walking distance along the road. I can assure you that there are not many nearby accom providers with the aspect that you experienced at similar price. The rate is based on market and what else is around that is comparable and it was peak wedding/high season but still very competitive, as i say, for the location and views. A room in Auckland at this time, without a view, looking at the back of another high rise would cost you half as much again at this time as we have many stay on as opposed to staying in Auck before their flights to save a few $. Oneroa is a 10 - 15 min walk for supplies and most who stay with us for more than a night do hire a car so as they can see the island and so never normally a problem. Sorry if you felt inconvenienced due to this. So far as the coffee, tea etc is concerned, when people stay with us for a few days , we offer to top these items up and additional linen requirements as well. I would be disappointed if you had not in fact had this offered and so please reiterate if this was in fact the case . And we do provide the essentials, but we feel that if you are with us for a 3 day period you procure additional items locally from the many options on the island. Generally the tv process is straight forward aside from the odd Sky outage, apologies if that was an issue for you, but we are always available and can help with that. I think our previous reviews show a completely different guest experience and we try particularly hard to ensure a fantastic stay. The correspondence by this guest was the rudest I have ever uncounted in all my time in business, (25 years in various customer based businesses) and not something we are prepared to take. Although we did still endeavor to assist where we could... there was no chance of pleasing and hence this very biased/skewed review.
