The hotel was pretty central within Auckland, easy to find. The security deposit of $150 actually takes at least 3 weeks to go back into your bank account...not 3-5 working days as we were told.

Great location, good bed and nice view. Room safe was broken. Televison had to be hooked up, bathroom light was burned out. Overall a good place to stay. Staff was responsive.

This property was not for me. I did not feel safe with it's location or the layout of the property. It was generally run down and tatty. This property is mainly either for long term stay or people own their own unit (tenants).

liked how it had a balcony and kitchen utensils. Comfortable beds. clean and good location. Didn't like how the hall ways smelt and parking was expensive. Also should say somewhere that you need ID of the person that booked the accommodation.

Terrible smell from the cleaning products they use. We stayed for two nights and asked for our room to be serviced. They changed most towels and gave us more body wash but they did not get rid of the kitchen rubbish or make beds. There was tea and coffee but no jug. Room was cold as there was minimal natural light.

Price was right, right in CBD, good size buget apartment for two people. Free internet yes! Helpful person at 24 hour reception. Some of the power points - one at kitchen bench and one behind main bed were not usable just could not get the plug into the socket. The lamp light needs replacing in main room. The TV remote was not working but was sorted within 20 minutes. Basic TV channels, washing machine and dryer were a bonus. I would definately book again if price is right.

The staff were really nice and helpful. Unfortunately the actual room and facilities were not up to standard, and so I don't think I will be staying here again. There were signs up on every door but ours about a flood contamination, hazard zone etc. which made me wonder how our room could possibly have escaped damage, and how we were allowed to be staying in it. One elevator was out of order. There was a big stain on the carpet in one bedroom. One lightbulb in the bathroom wasn't working which made the room very dark, and the curtain didn't completely pull around the shower area, meaning that most of the bathroom floor got wet. The TV had bad reception and the resolution was set up incorrectly so that it cut off parts of the channel/show. There were only about 3 or 4 channels. The extra blankets had old food stains on them so clearly hadn't been washed recently. The dining table was sticky and not properly clean. Also, it would have been nice to have a few more basic supplies such as a teatowel and a box of tissues. For the price we paid, I don't think it was very good value for money, and the only thing that this place had in the positive column was a good location and friendly staff. It's a shame but I will likely not return here unless I know that these problems are corrected.

I was really gutted with this stay. I was in Auckland for the marathon and had little sleep or comfort so it effected my run 😞. I rated the bathroom dirty due to black mold, hair in shower and something sticky on drawer handles, and got a call from the on duty manager at 10pm (I was asleep) about it and we agreed it'd be looked at in morning and then he knocked on door half an hr later, persistently. Which was inappropriate, weird and actually intimidating. Then a cleaner turned up the next night after I was out all day and interrupted my only couple hrs actually there and awake. Then the immediate neighbour's had a party from 6pm with music and talking so loud I couldn't hear my TV or sleep. Management did talk to them. But the lower level of noise only latest 15 mins, several hours later it did quieten cos they went out. There were also a lot of broken and worn things, the security chain on the door, which I felt I needed!, broken wheels on oil column heater (the only heating, which seemed an odd option), one socket didn't go in bedroom and there were no sockets near head of bed so couldn't charge phone overnight beside bed. Towel rail had broken bracket fixing it to wall. Any the TV didn't work. Thankfully my brother was dropping me off and he sorted that. And communication was bad. I rung ahead to book late checkout. Had to re book when arrived. Then got a call on the day telling me I had to be out. So had to explain again. All just too hard.

The rooms are clean and tidy. Convenient location with restaurants and shops that are few minutes walk. Walking distance to Sky City. There was a note when we checked in reminding us to minimise noise after 10pm. However, on weekend nights we were there, one unit sounds like they’re having a party and screaming out. I’m not sure if they’re permanent tenants but the reception didn’t seem to care. It was hard to sleep with the noise. Despite of that though, we were happy with our stay. No air con but they provide fan, heaters and blankets.

DONT BOOK, GO ELSE WHERE. Our washer was filled with black mold and didn’t work. Despite advising reception 4 times, it was finally somewhat resolved on day 3 of 7 of our stay yet they weren’t willing to resolve the mold & smell issue. We ended up getting them to wash our clothes daily. Room service didn’t make our bed at all. Only gave us new towels. The noise from the street is horrible (shady people hanging around and arguing). We had our neighbor throw a party and blasted music throughout one whole night till they checked out -_- Parking is also a struggle.

Need to service or update appliances. TV had no remote and the washing machine where the powder go was broken. Remote in bedroom not working. Just small maintenance things that need updating. No tea towels in the room either. The water pressure is brilliant but the cubicles are small even for smaller people. All of the Receptionists where very helpful and friendly. I have not fault here, but the appliances let the team down.

The room was tidy but the towels and linen etc smelt horrible the constant noise from the fans running all nite in the hallway were very annoying and kept us awake the whole nite and the we felt the power cords everywhere were very dangourus and the window by the bench needs a blind or a curtain to keep out the light at night it would have been nice to have been warned about the fans that they were there and that they would of been going to be running all night it would have been polite for the fans to have been turned of between 9.pm and 7.am while people slept
