The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Good security using the pass keys. I did wish they had the cliche hotel vending machine and ice pail - Hubby and I were both looking for a cold soda/juice. Friendly staff and lots of restaurants within walking distance. There was a pretty park area directly behind the hotel with a large playground. I would definitely look to stay here again.

Very lovely staff and decent price for the location. We only stayed a couple days, and it was a great spot to easily get to restaurants and train stations.

Great hotel on a quiet street, very close to everything in the CBD. Lovely balcony, specious bathroom and nicely equipped kitchenette. We had everything we needed for a memorable stay in Auckland. Will be looking to book again, next time we visit here.

Our bathroom was leaking from the room above at 2 am, big water bubble on edge of bursting, called reception couldnt get in contact, went downstairs to reception to be told they would come up and look, no one came up. Got moved to another room half a hour later to get minimal sleep, very upset with the experience

The spa tub can be very dangerous, because there are no handholds to get in and out. If the bathroom floor is wet, there is nothing to prevent a fall.

I had a lovely balcony that overlooked the city with a view of the sky tower. It was quiet, very spacious, lovely staff and everything worked. K road was very close which had takeaways and dairies, bottle stores etc and cafes. Queens street was a quick walk across the park and there were many Asian food options which are my favourite. Only thing that was an issue was the TV would turn on by itself on some kind of timer and display the Hotel QR code. Everything else was good

Comfortable one night stay. The room showed its age with some paint chipping and older style bathroom (high step-in tub). Modest outdoor swimming pool and hot pool were a nice perk.

Clean and comfortable but poorly maintained. Our penthouse suite had lights that didn't work and all 3 blinds/ curtains were permanently shut because they were broken. We were charged extra for parking but weren't told there was a charge initially.

Friendly and helpful receptionist. And other staff I met. Would stay again and did. Grateful for upgrade on second stay. Good location for friends dropping off and picking up without going into centre of town. Maybe, wee way from supermarket, but walkable. Shower over bath if this is an issue. Kitchen facilities. Good location, good front desk staff, helped as much as they could. Parking is at extra cost. There was some confusion about that cost because at the time of the booking, it was $30 and they increased that to $35 at check-in.

Great property, but thin walls
Great stay, comfortable and clean, room worked well. My only complaint was the thin walls, on one side we had a child screaming for 3 hours in the middle of the night, and the other side there were a group of early 20 year olds who were having a party from 11pm both nights. Walls were very thin and could hear everything even with ear plugs. Luck of the draw who is next to you though. Otherwise perfect stay, and i would certainly stay there again.
