"Attractively decorated barn, very comfortable main bedroom, bedding less good in secondary bedrooms. Nice bathroom. Kitchen currently lacking practical equipment (pans, utensils, salad bowl...) but friendly owners seem open to improvement suggestions. Garden is pretty but lacks privacy - there is another rental property on the same site, so garden doubles as their access and parking ! Apparently the owners are looking at changing this. Located in a rustic farming hamlet, no shops or businesses...

"La maison est idéalement située, et très fonctionnelle, un beau jardin. En revanche la propreté de la maison laissait à désirer à notre arrivée, ( douche et sanitaires sales, les couvertures qui recouvrent un canapé vétuste étaient sales tachées et trouées , etc… ) Et la literie est à remplacer , les matelas sont affaissés . "We stopped at La Mansarde enroute to a tour of the war graves and memorials in France & Belgium. Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with a Nespresso machine, kettle, small hob, and all the necessary cookware and crockery for preparing simple meals. The air conditioning was very effective, and the shutters made the room wonderfully dark at night. The brand-new (2025) swimming complex was stunning, with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room – all immaculately clean and beautifully styled. White bathrobes were provided for guests using the facilities, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the restaurant beside the pool, with an option to sit on the patio surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas. The host was warm, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would return in a heartbeat."

Very peaceful location in a small, quiet village but within a short drive/ easy access of the surrounding areas. Plenty to see and do within an hours drive or less. "This property is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts Dominique and Genevieve cannot do enough for you. On the day we arrived they had family visiting who were so lovely. The village and setting is tranquil and pretty. From the moment we arrived, to be greeted with drinks, we felt welcomed and at home. The room is lovely, very spacious and immaculate. The fridge is fully stocked with water and soft drinks and the coffee machine has an enormous choice. Dominique helped us to book dinner at a really lovely restaurant 15 minutes drive from the house and served us with the most fabulous breakfast on the terrace. We cannot rate this accommodation and family highly enough. Given the opportunity we would not hesitate to return."

"La Ferme de Tigny is a genuine, working farm concentrating on chickens. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. It is B&B, with an excellent breakfast. There is a kitchen available for guests to use for coffee or tea making along with a fridge with a freezer compartment as well as a microwave. The location is very rural, so shops are some way away but it is very tranquil and calm. we had just an overnight stop on our way back to Le Shuttle but it would be a good option for a stay of a few days to explore the area. We would certainly consider doing this for a future trip."
