"The room was beautiful, and the staff was extremely helpful. Especially given the fact that Expedia charged me for a room, but never sent my reservation to the hotel. I ended up standing in the lobby for 45 minutes trying to get in touch with an actual human being on the phone to explain the situation. When I finally got in touch with someone they were attempting to make me pay for another room or stay at a less expensive hotel even though I already paid for a reservation and my card had been charged. The representative at the front desk handled this situation well but I’m very disappointed in the way Expedia handled the situation. Attempting to book an Expedia gold member at another, less expensive hotel, and charge them for it is unacceptable. "
