Lyreen's is a modern 2 bedroom ground floor Semi Hosted Bed and Breakfast apartment in the lovely historical township of Auburn in the beautiful Clare Valley.

Our Philosophy is to provide a modern quality B&B with a friendly relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price.

Located 110 kilometres from Adelaide, Auburn is the southern gateway to the rich vineyards of the Clare Valley in South Australia's mid north.

Auburn is a town with many attractions for visitors. As the gateway to the Clare Valley wine region, it has wineries, restaurants, galleries, tearooms, walks and cycling trails.

The Riesling and Rattler Trails for cyclists and walkers start in Auburn and the River Walk meanders along the River Wakefield within the town. The Auburn Heritage walk showcases the very special heritage buildings that are such a feature of Auburn.

Lyreen’s Apartment

Communication was a breeze and Tony and Joan welcomed us on our arrival. They provided instructions of where items were located and also recommended eateries and bike hire in the area. The accommodation was ‘home from home’. Continental breakfast items were supplied, together with a beautiful fruit bowl and chocolates. The accommodation was pristine and very comfortable. In a peaceful location, ten minutes walk to the Main Street. The apartment overlooked a garden filled with an abundance of beautiful flowers, where you could enjoy a glass of wine whilst enjoying the serenity. The apartment was below the main property but Tony and Joan were respectful of our privacy. Thank you for a wonderful short break.

Nice laid-back place to stay within easy striking distance of many of the best places to visit in the Clare Valley. Contact with owners was kept to a minimum but what contact we had was always helpful.

Wow! What a great stay. The location was perfect for our wine tasting get away, two friends having a weekend away and we had more than what we needed. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and so many little extras that made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Could not fault our 2 nights at Lyreen’s -extremely well appointed, great location just far enough away from the noisy main road. A beautiful apartment for your Clare Valley getaway

Lyreen’s Apartment B&B is a beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean two bedroom downstairs apartment in a pretty garden setting and quiet location in the small town of Auburn. Upon arrival we were greeted by our friendly and helpful host, who was easily contactable should any issues arise (there weren’t any). The living/kitchen area is spacious, comfortable and elegantly decorated. There is no stove or oven, but a microwave, BBQ and induction hot plate are provided. Washing machine, drier, WIFI, large screen TV with Netflix and extensive continental breakfast provisions are also included. Delicious meals at the local pub are a short walk away though, and the popular Riesling Trail is nearby. The bedrooms are also elegantly appointed, with quality linens, pillows and mattress. There is only one bathroom (again beautifully presented, spotless and quality towels with quality body care products provided) and the toilet is not separate from this, but for a couple this is not a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Welcomed by the Host Joan. Made feel welcomed. Everything explained. How to operate TV etc. The little touches made it special. Beautiful bathroom products supplied. Everything supplied for a continental breakfast. Even a chocolate left on each bedroom side table. The whole cottage was so clean and everything you could possibly need was supplied. I would recommend this property.

I had to stay somewhere for work and Lyreen's was just so comfortable, my lovely hosts welcomed me and showed me how everything worked and have decked out the apartment in everything I could need. The toiletries were divine, think I will start using them myself. I am definitely staying again next time I have to work in the area.
