No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep."

"Cozy little place set on a quiet hill. Lightning bugs galore on June nights. Close to a number of cafes and restaurants in Apollo, Vandergrift and Leechburg. Was a convenient location for a wedding at a nearby farm venue. While it was a bit hot and muggy for June, the AC provided a nice respite. Remember if you’re coming from the city, this is in the country, so you may find yourself getting to know a few more bugs than usual. Just be prepared if the kiddos have any allergies; the bugs are pretty harmless but you may need to shoo a few away. "

Great Getaway!

"My wife and I stayed here to get away for a little bit and celebrate her birthday. What a wonderful place to get away too! It's a little walk to the lake, but it's still a really nice view of the lake and wonderful property (with lots of windows). It was hot so we enjoyed the air conditioning. My wife read as many books as she could in the comfy furniture while enjoying the view and I enjoyed hiking the magical trails and kayaking with the Koi fish in the lake. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Thank you Timothy and Jennifer!"
