A perfect Castle Hotel

This is a place, where you feel like the master of the manor. The place is monumental and very impressive, but most of all: The staff epitomise perfect hospitality. The menu in the restaurant is on a high level (try the Deer Carpaccio and the Beef Wellington and you know what I mean). This place is highly recommendable.

Beutifully renovated authentic location. Spacious rooms. Very friendly personnel. Room was changed to accomodate a lengthy customer, a better fitting bed was offered. Top service. The restaurant at the facility is worth a try. Not cheap but good food in a nice environment. Make a reservation up front!

Ein schönes Erlebnis auf einer echten alten Book zu übernachten. Wir hatten Zimmer mit einer tollen Aussicht gehabt das Essen war spannend und schöne Tische. Vielen Dank für alles. Alles Personal war freundlich und kompetent. Vielen Dank für die großartige Hotel und Burgführung.

Das Zimmer entsprach in keiner Weise einer 4 Sterne-Qualität: eine Gardine seitlich zerfetzt, eine Steckdose zwischen Bett und Nachttisch hing an der Verdrahtung aus der Wand, im Bereich einer weiteren, gut sichtbaren Steckdose endeten die Malerarbeiten frühzeitig und mit Abstand, ein Laken war fleckig, an dem Heizkörper im Bad aus den 1980er Jahren - alles in bahamabeige - war an zahlreichen Stellen die Farbe abgeplatzt, der Klodeckel war matt und fleckig geputzt. Nach dreimaliger Anfrage wurde eine zweite Decke gereicht, das Laken jedoch sofort gewechselt.

es war spektakulär, tolle Lage (mitten im Wald), tolles Schloss, tolles Dinner (NEHMEN SIE BLOSS DIE LECKERE SUPPE UND DEN HIRSCH), tolle Saunalandschaft im Verließ, tolles Zimmer, tolles Frühstück _ vom Engel serviert und tolles Nettes zuvorkommendes Personal incl. Jede Bewertung muss hier mit Sofie beginnen. Sie hat uns wunderbar betreut und beraten. Danke hier nochmals dafür! Zudem handelt es sich um wunderbar gesraltete und ausgesattete Räumlichkeiten um Brügge zu erkunden. Es gibt allerdings ein Manko. Das sind die Türen vor den Toiletten in den Zimmern. Sie sind quasi nicht existent. Es gibt aber für schamvolle Personen eine zusätzliche Toilette auf dem Flur die immer ersatzweise genutzt werden kann. Da es sich um ein Hotel mit nur 4 Zimmern handelt, ist man dort zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit ungestört.

Urtypisches, gut erhaltenes Burggebäude. Das Zimmer war gross und schön, allerdings auch sehr warm. Ein Ventilator wäre von Vorteil gewesen. Der Wellnessbereich ist im Keller der Oberburg. Sehr hübsch gemacht, aber auch sehr klein. Die Saunakabine ist mit 4 Personen voll belegt. Tauchbecken oder Pool sind nicht vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichlich und gut. Erwähnenswert ist auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals.

Absolute Ruhe

Die Anlage ist super, die Burg einfach schön, das Essen im Restaurant hervorragend. Und wenn man dann noch das Glück hat (wir nicht) eines der renovierten Zimmer mit neuem Bad zu erwischen, muss man sicher nicht mehr dem Charme der 70er atmen. Es war nicht der erste Besuch auf Burg Schnellenberg. Die Lage mit der hervorragenden Aussicht bei gutem Wetter ist außergewöhnlich und jede Reise wert. Alles schön sauber und äußerst nettes Personal. Frühstück gerade zu Ostern wirklich gut! Zimmer im oberen Burgteil war in Ordnung, die Nasszelle nicht - hier versäumte man darauf hinzuweisen, dass die Deckenhöhe nur zwischen 1,80 und 2 m ist. Für große Menschen eine echte Qual! Leider bekam man bei der Rezeption nach der Bemängelung nur die Antwort: Die Körpergröße hätte man bei der Buchung angeben müssen. Trotz dieser unschönen Reaktion, kann man das Hotel sonst wirklich empfehlen, man sollte nur die Körpergröße bei der Buchung unbedingt angeben.
