"This hotel is in a perfect location. Very close to train station and easily walkable to key areas and the area is very clean. The room was also very clean and well kept. It was a basic room with the only amenity being a mini fridge. But the fridge was filled with for sales items so there was really no room to add your own stuff. We visited in October and it was still very warm and there was no air conditioning so we had to leave the window open to cool the room. Everything went well overall and we had a nice stay. When we checked out there were unexpected resort fees that were not listed on the Expedia booking as being expected “pay at resort” charges. Usually Expedia is very good at listing all charges. I simply asked about these charges for an explanation and the gentleman at the desk became very condescending and abrasive. The charges were not much so I went ahead and paid them. I just wanted an explanation. Everyone else besides him were friendly. The staff needs to maintain professionalism and courtesy to all customers , especially when being asked a simple question."

"This hotel is a lovely little hotel in an exceptional location in Lucerne. It's right by the river, surrounded by places to eat and a very short walk from the station and boat docks. A perfect location for getting out on trips. It's typical of an inner city hotel, so the rooms are small and bathrooms very small. But they are clean, functional and comfortable. There's a simple breakfast in house, which includes hot items. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. But the location is the star, so nice to be right in the middle of everything."
