We cancelled that stay, 10 minutes after the reservation was made. Had car trouble & could not get there! We reported it to Expedia. And was told to contact the property! I spoke to someone at the hotel & cancelled! . I hope to not be charged!

In the town the size of Atlantic, there aren't many choices, but this is a good one. It could use some maintenance, for example the outlets that won't hold on to a plug. They provide nice shampoos and soaps, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, a fridge that will freeze your soda, and a microwave to warm your leftovers from dinner. The breakfast is okay; enough variety that most people would find something.

This hotel has slowly gone down hill. I took a shower and then went to bed. Wasn’t long before I got itchy and got bit on the back…not sure by what. Then on the third and final night the itchy feeling was at it’s worst…terrible! Security is also an issue. Last time I stayed, the side access door to the complex was only opened via your hotel magcard after hours. This time the door would not even shut closed…anyone could walk in at any hour. I had to go back to the front desk twice as the magcards stopped working. Ugg…

The room was clean but definitely dated and could use some updates. There was no elevator, so carrying luggage up the stairs was a bit of a hassle. On Sunday morning, there was some kind of ceremony by the pool that was very loud around 7 a.m., which made it hard to sleep in. The bed itself was okay, but the pillows were very uncomfortable — I actually ended up buying one at Walmart. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are definitely some things that could be improved.
