"This hotel is about a 15 min drive to Atlantic City. It is affordable and located near a Denny's and Wawa. We got a non-smoking room and were happy that it smelled nice and was clean. The area felt safe enough too. The staff was kind and helpful."

"First, I ordered a room with double beds on the first floor wheelchair accessible when I arrived didn’t have one
We wound up getting a brown floor with a king bed for three people and a toddler
They tried to tell me my reservation was for two people when clearly it stated three adults at a toddler
They expected me to walk up steps at one and walk all the way across the hotel, because no one bothered to clean the steps at the other end of the hotel
The pile of snow was horrible.

Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination
8/10 Good
"These days, everything is very costly. The Trop is as well. Like other hotels, your room price is about half of what you actually pay. The fees they tack on are outrageous. Most of which are for things you never use. Then you have taxes as well. If you see a listed price, plan to pay about double.
Staff helpful, room clean, lots of places to get something to eat. If you wanted a simple sandwich, pizza, burger & beer, or more formal dining, you can find it at the Trop.
Stayed in AC many times over the years. This is the 1st time I didn't sit down and play at a table. The reason, minimum of $10. I'm a small dollar player and a $5 table is to my liking. A $10 minimum is a stop sign to me. If that $10 minimum doesn't bother you, lots of available seats for your enjoyment."
"I requested a handicap room with two beds, I checked in and went to the room and there was only one bed. Went back down to the desk, had to wait in line again, and then they told me I can't have two beds. My father and I were staying in the same room so I needed two beds. Finally I had to argue that I paid $500 and this is unacceptable so a manager filled my request. I was not happy with the way I was treated by the staff"
"I was told if I signed up for their rewards and booked directly and said it was a special occasion, they would have upgraded me to a suite. But to be honest, at that price and with the regular rooms being so awesome, I didnt feel I missed out."
Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City– A Caesars Rewards Destination
6/10 Okay
"Experience was great besides the pool. You book for 4 people and they only allow 2 to get in and you have to pay for the other two. That should be part of what we pay for the room and we also pay for the resort fee. So, I don’t really get why they need more from us. There’s really nothing much going on in the hotel so pool was a let down for me and my friends."
"The property is beautiful!! The only drawback is there is no where to walk outside the hotel. There is no walking path anywhere. You are confined to the hotel."
"Pros: I had a balcony room. The view was stunning. The hotel is pet and kid friendly which was a plus. They do have security on site.
Cons: The room had many stains on the furniture. The room and building is very old and outdated. Looks like a motel. The hotel staff weren’t able to provide/locate any chairs for the balcony. Also Only one finger food restaurant was open.
The money spent was not worth it. Very poor quality. I would not book again."
