2nd LIVING ROOM & GAME ROOM / LOWER LEVEL BASEMENT
– Large entertainment space featuring a large sectional couch, Smart TV with surround sound speakers and base ideal for Movies, pool/ping pong table, shuffleboard table, chess table and a karaoke machine.
***NOTE: Spiral stair case to get downstairs is small and a bit tight. There is also outside acsess to the basement as needed***

PLEASE NOTE
– The lower level is accessed via a very narrow spiral staircase from the kitchen. Guests should use caution when carrying luggage or navigating between floors. Also be aware that since the lower level is ground level, it remains cooler in temperature than the upper levels especially in the winter so please be aware and plan accordingly.

ACCESS & ENTRY
– Guests have full access to the entire home, driveway, yard seating area and front porch.
– There are steps at the front and back entrances. There are stairs up to the loft, and a narrow spiral staircase down to the lower level.
– Please be respectful of neighbors and surrounding homes.
-Please note that check-out time is promptly at 11:00 AM. Failure to check out by this time may result in a $100 fee per hour. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for our next guests. Thank you for your understanding!

KEYLESS ENTRY:
-There is keyless entry. Your host will provide you with the door code approximately one hour prior to check in the day of your trip.

PARKING:
-There is driveway parking for 3-4 vehicles.
-Additional cars can park on the street where available.
-Guests are responsible for city street parking compliance; read & follow signage to avoid parking tickets.
-We are not responsible for guest's vehicles.

MAIL:
-Please do not ship items to the property.
-If there is something of priority that you need shipped please reach out to us directly for alternative options.

-The property has Ring devices at the front and back of the property with audio and video recording.

HONESTY & EXPECTATIONS:
At "The Cornerstone" we want our guests to have a clear understanding of the distinctions between vacation rentals and hotels. While we diligently maintain our properties, wear and tear are inherent aspects of vacation rentals. Although we address issues promptly, the high volume of guests may result in occasional delays between stays. Any significant damage or serious concerns are prioritized and resolved before a guest's check-in, provided we are made aware of the issue.

CLEANING:
Our dedicated cleaning team meticulously sanitizes and cleans each home. Unlike standard hotel rooms, homes entail a more detailed cleaning process due to their larger size. Despite our team's efforts to ensure optimal cleanliness, minor oversights may occur. For substantial errors, we are committed to rectifying the situation promptly. While we take pride in our cleaning standards, we ask for understanding that, as in any human endeavor, perfection is not always attainable, especially when minor details have no direct impact on your stay.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:
As private residences, it's important to recognize that household items may break or require repairs during your stay. While we understand the inconvenience this may pose to our guests, it's equally disruptive for us. Appliances such as water tanks, HVAC systems, dishwashers, and refrigerators may experience issues. We cannot guarantee immunity from such occurrences, but we pledge to address and resolve any situation swiftly. While we assure our commitment to guests' well-being, we're honest about the potential for unforeseen issues.

We are always happy to welcome families! Please note that the property is not childproof, and children must be always supervised by an adult for safety.
-Atlantic City is a barrier island and city style environment; expect possible common sightings of household ants, critters or mice especially during certain times of the years. Properties are not immune to household issues like this and may have evidence of preventative treatments and measures.
-Beaches are free; no tags or passes required. Beach amenities not provided.
-We utilize quilts on most of our beddings for comfort, durability, and sanitary reasons. If extra blankets are needed, let us know before check-in.
-If you are extremely sensitive to smells, please note that odors from food, smoke, or other sources from outside or neighboring properties may occasionally be noticeable. If this is a major concern for you, please keep this in mind when booking.
-Atlantic City is an urban environment and, like many cities across the U.S., it can occasionally have a lively or city-like atmosphere. This may include noise from neighbors or occasional police activity in the surrounding areas. It is also a diverse cultural city, with a mix of people, backgrounds, and experiences that make it unique. While this is not uncommon for a city setting, we encourage guests to consider this when booking, especially if you’re seeking a quieter experience.
