There’s a pond which can attracts birdlife although with changing times it’s regressing to more of a prairie with occasional water and increasing vegetation due to natural silt intrusion. What is delightful about the preserve is the fact that it’s a little off the beaten path and therefore is not overly crowded while existing undeveloped next to a small shopping mall, car dealership and regular suburban homes. And it continues to be looked after by enthusiastic community volunteers.
