"We came to Athens for a concert at the Georgia Theater and made a last minute decision to book a room for the night to avoid a late night drive back to Canton. Our first trip to Athens, loved the University! Room was great, very clean. We had time for a quick burger, which was outstanding, service was great! "

"We reached out to the booking email twice—you really need to provide your guests with immediate contact information since our fridge stopped working on Saturday and we had to throw out all the food we planned to give to our son. Read below…we would appreciate a response back: We sent a message last night and hadn’t heard back. We’ve checked out, but wanted to let you know that maybe a breaker tripped because the fridge and that whole wall with the coffee maker power isn’t working. Pretty important to know for your next guests. And, instead of being able to give the groceries to our son we had to throw it all out because who knows how long it wasn’t working. We could never find a breaker box. Some other things to note: -there was no body wash in the shower - you really need more than 3 hangers for your guests so they can hang clothes -not sure if the register in the ceiling in the bedroom pushes out cold air—isn’t it supposed to?!?—but the bedroom gets very, very warm, even when the living room area is cool. While the fan works well, after running for a while it starts making a very noticeable noise, almost like it’s off track. It’s annoying when you’re trying to sleep. -might I suggest purchasing coasters so guests don’t put sweaty drinks on your furniture? The location is great and the unit is cute, but these things made for a less-than 5 star experience."

"The hotel was decent. No microwave in the room, had to share one in the lobby. One of the elevators was not working. However, the breakfast was very good. The staff was horrible! Worse we have dealt with in a long time! Tried to get an issue with billing corrected our entire stay and kept getting brushed off. On the last day were told we would have to handle it ourselves. Too many other good hotels in the area to ever recommend this one!"
