Out standing property. If you are look g for the perfect location, center to all attractions, a25 Euro uber from the airport, 15 euro from the port. Building is well maintained, host response is immediate. A bit complicated to draw keys, and use codes to enter the facility, but screenshot all, and save for easy reference to pull up the info easy. Would DEFF stay here again, no questions.

The property is very clean and modern, made to please , but with some problems : WiFi didn’t work for 3 days Unit with not enough equipment to use properly ( kitchen with pretty much nothing inside, no toilet paper, hot water was spotty …) Host is responsive but irregularly It could easily get solved so I hope you do.

The apartment was easy to check into and very clean. The location was ok. The Wifi provided didn't work, but the host provided a second connection. This worked intermittently, which wasn't ideal as I work remotely; even the televisions in the property couldn't connect to the internet. The pool want available during our stay, which we weren't aware of when booking. One evening the front door locking system didn't work and multiple families were locked out. Host was brilliant and always responded to messages.

The apartment was exactly perfect for us! While it wasn’t walkable (for me) to many of the attractions, it was safe and easy to get to via taxi. I really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone.

The photo of the swimming pool is misleading, it’s a plunge pool at best. The flat was well equipped, comfy beds and sofa. External shutters meant total blackout in the bedrooms which was great for a lie in. The air conditioning is noisy. It could do with a bit of tlc.

Had a super huge apartment. Fantastic value for the price. Neighbourhood wasn't the best but close to bus and walkable to sites. Pool was small but refreshing and had fantastic rooftop views. Air conditioning wasnt working properly but the fan circulated quite well.

We stayed at the Edge for a week in late October. Sadly, the rooftop pool wasn't heated and too cold to enjoy. The building looks like it is about 5 years old and is quite nice, but the only new building around. It has a nice gym, and our apartment had a kitchenette and separate bedroom. They sound proofed the windows pretty well, but there is a busy 4 lane road just outside, so it can still be noisy. Just a miles walk to the Acropolis and a half mile to groceries and restaurants.

Unit was great for a family of 4. Very clean with everything you need for a stay. Location is a bit of a walk from the main attraction area of the acropolis and surrounding restaurants. 25 min or so. The pool and are is very small. Ok for a quick cool off but you wouldt really spend any time sitting by it.

Luxury on a budget

I recently stayed here for a business trip with a little leisure thrown in. The Edge is in a great location for getting to both Athens centre and the beach using public transport which is just short walk away. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants all very well priced just a short walk away in the lively and vibrant Kallithea centre. The apartment also has several supermarkets within a short walk. The Edge is modern, clean and comfortable with good security (window shutters, door catch/viewer and in-room safe) and all the cooking/washing facilities needed, all of which are in excellent condition. Great WiFi, TVs in living room and bedroom and efficient air conditioning. Nice to have the pool and gym facilities and there is a great view from the roof terrace where the pool is located. Overall, great experience and good value for money. Liana from My Greek Vacations was great at communicating and very helpful throughout our stay. Will definitely stay there again if I am back in Athens.

Lovely little place just outside the city centre.

Quick overview: Really lovely stay, no big complaints, great size and amenities, just ensure you understand the location before booking. Very comfortable apartment, nice sofa and bed. Aircon was exceptional. Very spacious, plenty of clothes storage. Good ammenities, we used the oven and fridge/freezer and had no problems. Microwave appeared to not work. Good amount of crockery too. Nice look and feel to the place, modern style, good lighting. Small downsides: only 2 windows, 1 facing an alley and the other covered with a shutter, which wasn't clear how/if we could open. The WiFi didn't work, but I did not mention this to the landlord, so I can't comment on their helpfulness. There was a strange smell (almost fishy) every time we entered the apartment, but either it dissappated quickly once the aircon was on, or we got used to it. Pool was a little disappointing. Clever photography. It's only 0.8m deep and maybe 2mx8m. Not for swimming, but still great for cooling off and people watching the city below. (Can't see the acropolis). A short walk from Athens centre, around 30minutes to get to the acropolis/bottom of plaka, around 45minutes to Syntagma Square. No clear/easy bus routes nearby, and no metro, but we had no issues walking up and back each day as it was a straight street with plenty of shade. Only 4-7euros for a taxi into the Plaka district so very reasonable. Numerous supermarkets/shops and eateries along the street to the Acropolis.

The property itself is very beautiful and well maintained, and the room was very clean. I also appreciated that check in and check out were easy and that it was straightforward to find my way around the property. However, there were two things that significantly affected my stay. When I arrived to my room in the evening, it was extremely hot. The windows and doors had been left open during the day, apparently without any consideration for the temperature. The curtains were also hanging loosely to the left and right side, which made the room look as though someone had broken into it. This was particularly disappointing given how beautifully and carefully the room itself had been cleaned. So it took a while to cool down the room. The second and much more important issue is the pool shown as part of the property. It is not really a pool in the usual sense. It is more like a small paddling pool and, at most, suitable for children. I specifically chose this property because it advertised a pool, so discovering that it was essentially a paddling pool was very disappointing. In my opinion, presenting this as a pool when it is not suitable for swimming gives guests a misleading impression and can directly influence their booking decision. Overall, the property has a lot of potential and is visually very appealing, but the pool description should be much more accurate and the room should be prepared appropriately for the temperature before guests arrive.

We stayed only for 3 days in THE EDGE, but we had a great time. We decided for it as there were big and comfortable rooms, close to the city center and also opportunities to get easy to the beach side. The beds were very good and the climate in the rooms were great. Even when something was not as expected, the service team made everything happen to solve the situation. So we were very happy to stay and enjoyed Athens.
