I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Juan Rodriguez Hacienda. Our flight was delayed and had to check in late but they were so accomodating. They even brouggt some snacks to our room and had a little welcome drink waiting for us. The room was definitely not your run of the mill chain hotel room. It had beautiful marble floors throughout and a small balcony overlooking the quaint little alley/street. They offered us earplugs as our room was above the bar, however the glass doors were so soundproofed, we never heard a thing. And did I say how comfortable the bed was?? Omg, it was the MOST comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The hotel is located by the Monastiraki Flea Market where you can find just about everything you could possibly want to buy. The hotel was gracious enough to hold our luggage while we explored and bought some souvenirs to take home. If I ever find myself back in Athens, I would definitely stay at the Juan Rodriguez Hacienda. And did I mention how comfortable the bed was?

This was a beautiful hotel. Everything was top notch. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Loved the balcony. Staff was exceptional, felt welcome and extremely well taken care of. Breakfast on the balcony each morning was such a treat. Close and walkable to all main attractions.Overall would highly recommended.
