First room way too small. 2 people traveling abroad 2 big bags. No room for the bags or people. Could not even change my mind. Nice hotel but the hotel should consider whose is renting.

Advantage, location is great ,clean, friendly staff. Disadvantage, AC in whole hotel rooms is sit in universal temperature so you cant adjust the temperature according to what you prefer which is a big Disadvantage for me .

Overall the experience was very positive, the hotel has an interesting vibe and the interior decoration is charming (thanks for the music record in the room!). The breakfast is excellent as well as the view, the restaurant and the service. It is situated in a very central area of Athens, therefore in a perfect spot for moving around.

Very nice hotel with good ambiance. We arrived before check in and our room was ready. They also upgraded our room which had a balcony. Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly staff and Prosecco. The view from the rooftop was very nice. Convenient location as it is next to the metro. Also walking distance to acropolis and other popular sites.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and toilet/shower was in condition and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant and food and service was faultless. Views of acropolis and city from the rooftop are spectacular. All in all would highly recommend staying here. Many Thanks

We were put on the 8th floor right underneath the roof top restaurant and bar, so noice from thier kept us up and woke us up, early mornings for preparations of breakfast at 6am. We could hear them moving furniture around. In the eveings, area around the hotel, we felt bit uncomfortable because of large gatherings of people. In my opinion the hotel is not a 4 * rather 3.

Great hotel ideally situated for a city break

Great hotel, great location and a great atmosphere. I read some complaints about the room sizes and location but if you check what you're booking then you'll see it's just right. The room theme is a little quirky but that's a personal taste thing. The rooftop bar area is wonderful and the staff are very attentive. My biggest praise is for the reception and housekeeping staff. I read one guy stating they were dishonest but I found the exact opposite. 8 hours after leaving we realised we left some sunglasses on the bed, most likely wrapped in the sheets. We called the hotel and nothing had been reported but 20 minutes later they called to tell me they had found them. That level of honesty on an item which we could have lost anywhere along the way is unheard of.

BEDBUGS

This hotel has bedbugs. We noticed them on top of the sheets after we took a nap. We lifted the sheet and saw them crawling into the mattress. Two days later, I had bites all over both of my arms. At first, the hotel was very helpful. They immediately refunded us and agreed to reimburse us for the expenses. It has now been over a month and the hotel has my bank account and credit card information and has not processed the refund. I email them a few times a week and have not had this issue resolved. Choose another hotel!

HUGELY DISSAPOINTING – THEFT FROM MY ROOM

Location is more or less acceptable, even though I have struggled finding anywhere decent to go for a dinner. Don’t be misled by the hotel name as it is nowhere near Acropolis. I did not get any welcome drink on arrival from sour-faced reception staff. The room was extremely dark, lacking any source of lighting – natural or artificial, and the view from my room was a dark noisy alleyway, overlooking air conditioning units. The whole experience felt like I was inside some sort of social engineering experiment: the ego-centric owner must like loud house music, so I must like it too, the owner must be vegetarian, so I must be too, the owner must be into retro décor style, so I must be too. Breakfast is actually not bad… if you are vegetarian, and a total disaster if you are not. You have to ask to get your fried eggs or omelette, and if you ask for fried sausages, you will hear “no, we are vegetarian!” You have no choice but to become veggie retro hipster and listen to the loud house beat until midnight, no matter what floor your room is on, and what’s even worse you have to listen to the same at breakfast. Be prepared to wait for extra-long time for lifts and use weird button system. For the grand finale I had a theft from my room. Hotel has recorded the theft but has not done anything to resolve the issue, I faced complete poker-faced indifference and lack of sympathy from the reception staff, saying that cleaners have not taken anything.

Hotel liegt direkt an der Ubahn. Personal super nett und tolle Dachterasse. Frühstück ist wirklich abwechselungsreich und lecker. Kaffee war bisschen schwach, aber da es auf den Zimmern eine Nespresso Maschiene gab, hat es sich wieder ausgeglichen.

I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings. We booked based on the reviews and were completely misled. From start to finish, the service was appalling. Staff were indifferent and unhelpful — no acknowledgment while waiting to check in, only one staff member serving multiple guests, and only two of three people in our group were offered a welcome drink. Our “superior” room was anything but. The photos online are misleading. The room was tired, dirty, and poorly maintained — marked walls, chipped furniture, a stained armchair, and a broken safe. The bathroom was unacceptable: mould, hair in the tub, broken shower fittings, and a drain that didn’t work. To make matters worse, there was constant, loud construction noise above our room, making it impossible to rest — even for our baby. When we raised concerns, staff dismissed us and offered no solution. Expedia tried to contact the hotel multiple times on our behalf, but calls went unanswered and any request for help or compensation was refused. The lift was also dangerous, closing abruptly on guests — my baby’s pram and my elderly mother were both nearly injured. The only positives were the central location and the rooftop bar staff, who were friendly and professional. Everything else was deeply disappointing. For the price paid, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by the photos or reviews — look elsewhere.

Room was a bit on the small size. Beds were comfortable. The AC and WIFI worked well. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is on a busy street. Easy to catch an Uber or go to the Metro. Uber is so cheap in Athens so, that was our primary method of getting around. They have a 60s theme which is kinda of fun. All in all, a good place to stay.

After very early flight from the United States, we were able to still check in a little earlier because hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We were able to get early morning van arranged by the Hotel Check in was easy and friendly. Free water, 2 room accommodations for our teens, and champagne topping it. We would stay again.

Nice location, room too small

The hotel is centrally located right at the Omonia Square with each access to metro and bus lines. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was unexpectedly small, to the point that it was hard to move around with only two carry-on suitcases. It’s OK if you are just a tourist not planning to stay in the room and use it only to sleep for a night.

Wonderful mid-century modern decor, great rooftop bar and restaurant (with hot tubs, view of the Acropolis and other Athens sites, and GREAT food/drinks!), nice gym, hot tub/sauna/steam room (private reservations available), and wonderful staff (especially at the restaurant/bar! I didn't want to go home!
