The Amalia Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly, helpful with directions, and very professional. The hotel itself is located in the central part of Athens. It’s easy to walk to places, everything is within walking distance. The only negative was that the room was hot during the day. The AC was not working. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the very kind clerk offered me a fan. It helped a little, but the room however was still quite warm. Breakfast at the Amalia was fantastic. There was an assortment of pastries, breads, fruits, breakfast meats, and eggs. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch.

Center of Capital with lots to do. Friendly staff and helpful. The 6th floor suite had view of a large part of the city. Need to say that it is located across form a small forest full of total trees. Very nice walk after breakfast. The complementary wine was a nice touch. Thank you all.

We enjoyed our stay with Amalia Hotel Athens though the hotel is a bit out dated but overall was pleasant. It’s located at a very convenient area and felt safe. Staffs were amazing and very attentive. Will stay here again

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Amalia and would stay here again if we return to Athens. We stayed in room 608, which was a deluxe double with King bed and balcony. We had a nice view of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier from our balcony! Very convenient to Syntagma metro station (3 minute walk), and 10-15 minute walk to all of the historical sites we saw as well. We arrived prior to check in time, however our room was ready upon arrival so we did not need to utilize the complimentary luggage storage the front desk offers. Our booking included breakfast each morning which was quite the spread, and very delicious! Our room also had a complimentary bottle of red wine given our Hotels.com status. There was a mini-fridge stocked with cold items, as well as some snack items (both of which are not complimentary). It was a good size room, and the bathroom was spacious as well (tub with handheld shower. Toilet, no bidet. Check out was quick, and only needed to pay the nightly hotel city tax.

We had a lovely family stay with teenagers. It’s a great location, we walked to everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable and well serviced. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast and excellent - great variety with so much cake j recommend taking s Tupperware box!

Amalia Hotel,highly recommend
City break to Athens.Excellent location for exploring all the sites. The Metro is only 100m away along with the X95 bus which takes you directly to the airport. Hotel is very clean and welcoming and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. If we return to Athens we would have no hesitation in booking in again at the Amalia Hotel

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours before check in time. They stored our luggage, called my cell phone to notify me when our room was ready, and delivered our bags to our room promptly. We had a spacious room with an excellent view directly on the main street just 200 m from the Parliament Building. Got to watch the changing of the guards and the National Day Parade directly from our balcony while enjoying a complementary bottle of nice Greek wine. Breakfast was included in our room price and was really good. Very convenient location with lots of shops, restaurants, and lovely outdoor cafes within a 10-minute walk time, and an easy 20-minute walk to the entrance for the Acropolis. Great value and an excellent experience.
