"Good things: swimming pool and hot tub, spacious for 12 of us. The lake at Coco plage is lovely. Not so good: no responses to my messages before our stay therefore confusion over bed linen. The property is not clean. There is grime everywhere. Needs a deep clean. Very small cooking area. Grass needed cutting. Very limited activities in the area. Spent too much time in super u because there was not much else to do. Towns and villages are deserted, shops closed and markets consist of about five...

"Quel dommage que ce gîte, très bien équipé au demeurant, fasse l’objet d’un tel manque d’entretien : le ménage n’a pas été fait après le départ du précédent locataire, le jacuzzi etait inutilisable car pas nettoyé, le robot de la piscine etait encrassé et il a fallu qu’on le démonte et le nettoie pour pouvoir nettoyer la piscine avant de l’utiliser, des objets dangereux étaient restés sur place alors qu’ils auraient dû être mis à la déchèterie. "Emplacement du gîte très bien situé pour la visite des Alpes mancelles . Accueil très sympathique, avec en plus : bouquet de fleurs sur la table . Petit déjeuner ( que je n'ai pas vu sur le descriptif du site), je dirai comme chez "mémé ", croissants ,confitures etc... et cerise sur le gâteau cookie fait maison ."

"Booked last minute for Le Mans 24H. New accommodation was all very clean and welcoming. Beds were comfy and the shower was brilliant. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were nice to have. On street parking outside was safe and plentiful. Short walk over bridge into town for lovely local bakery is well worth doing. Looking forward to staying again!"

"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it."

"Very easy to find, very welcoming greeting from the hotel staff. Quickly checked in and found rooms to be perfectly sized and equipped. The shower was especially good very powerful! Portafino restaurant just 2 minutes walk around the corner also highly recommended with a selection of various different cuisines from different countries to suit almost any taste. Overall a perfect pitstop one night stay....thank you."
