"Beautiful place with fabulous styling and great facilities. Lovely peaceful and quiet. The pool was extra special. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen, but lots of the surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty, and although I brought it to the attention of housekeeping it wasn’t really resolved."

No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "

"Amazing! Beautiful property with 20years of love developing it into the experience you get today. Jaw dropping bedrooms dripping with original period features but all mod cons, the breakfast room makes you feel like a lord, the pool is warm and has a great atmosphere, the village is suitably quaint with a river running under a medieval bridge and the evening picnic offering is generous, delicious and well served. Lisa and Mark and her kids provide a very relaxed and professional and comfortable and chilled experience. Highly recommend for a few days of complete rustic luxury ! "

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags!
This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms.
The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes.
We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived.
We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

"Je séjourne régulièrement au Campanile de Sablé-sur-Sarthe dans le cadre de mes déplacements professionnels. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, familial. Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours souriant, disponible et à l’écoute. C’est un point de chute fiable et agréable pour les voyageurs fréquents.
Le restaurant sur place est une belle surprise : cuisine simple mais savoureuse, avec des buffets bien garnis. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié, parfait pour démarrer la journée."
