"We were the only guests and were very well looked after.first rate Cretian breakfast. Bed linen changed after two days. We used their Taverna in the evenings. I would say a car is a must. The olive oil,wines (red and White House ,herbs and capers all home produced including the Rakl. Pretty easy to go north or as the main road is only minutes away, views are fantastic. "Lovely setting, right on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, food very good for buffet and three al a Carte restaurant meals included. Room was a good size and separate area for teenage kids ideal. Only half hour drive from Heraklion airport and parking free at hotel. We rented a car as late flight and wanted to get to hotel ASAP. Car rental cheaper than private transfer and easy drive. Paid for late check out as return flight not till after 11pm and was well worth it."
