Everything was great and as advertised! Loved the 4 master suites bunks for kids in the loft! Plenty of space for everyone! We would definitely stay again!
Stayed for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for 8 adults. It was really easy to work with the hosts and they were very responsive. I would book again.
This was the perfect property for a family vacation! The house had everything you would need for your stay. It accommodated the needs of everyone, the grandparents, 3 adult couples and 3 grandchildren! This is by far the best VRBO we have ever used. The day trips to Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone included beautiful scenery. We received quick responses from the host with any questions. None of us wanted to leave!!!!
The house and property were perfect for our family. It was very clean and accommodating for us all. After a long day in the park it was nice to come back and relax in the hot tub and sit by the fire. It was an easy drive to the West Yellowstone entrance, to the Tetons and Jackson Hole. It made for an amazing trip with our family and would love to come back!
This home was absolutely perfect for our family trip. 12 of us stayed for a week and we felt right at home. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our meals. The mud room was perfect for keeping our hiking mess contained. The hot tub was clean and wonderful to retreat to after our daily national park adventures. The bunk room was oerfect for the 3 teenagers. Wonderful stay!
The home is a perfect set up! Everyone appreciates their own master suite. The kids loved the upstairs for sleep and play! Very well stocked with appliances! The host is exceptional and so easy to work with. We will definitely be back to this home!
Looking at the listing was very appealing, but the pictures do not do the property justice! So clean and beautiful inside and out with a great view. We were able to easily access both Jackson Hole and Yellowstone without any issues!
This place is absolutely perfect. Big home with beautiful surroundings. Quiet and hidden in the back roads of beautiful Idaho. Plenty of wildlife around. Fishing all over the area. Great host / manager. Easy to find. Five star!!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this property during our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons! The area was quiet and relaxing. Our kids had a great time playing ping pong and foosball upstairs. We relaxed in the hot tub each night after taking a day trip to the parks. Everything we needed during our stay was conveniently in the cabin! We would definitely consider coming back again!
There were 4 couples on our trip. Each couple had a beautiful room with attached bath. Plenty of supplies for all of us. Lots of towels for bathrooms and hot tub. Stocked pantry. Elise was so helpful with anything we needed.
For city folks like us, we loved being out in the country.
Our family vacation at this house was amazing! We were here for a week and visited Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was a little over an hour drive to the parks and the house was in a nice secluded area. There were three generations in our family and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with every known appliance we could possibly need. We definitely loved the outdoor fireplace, which used propane so we didn’t need to worry about firewood. Everyone also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day in the park. The loft area was especially fun for everyone with the ping-pong table and foosball.
The house was gorgeous, better than the photos. Spacious for our two families with kids and teens. King beds in all bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms made the stay so comfortable for the adults and teens. Ping pong and the kids lounge/TV area were great. The hot tub was a nice treat after hiking. Location is a bit far out as the drive to/from major areas was long, but do-able to both Yellowstone and Tetons. The drives were worth the evening comfort for our families. The house was incredibly stocked with all toiletry and kitchen essentials, extra blankets, plenty of linens, etc. which is awesome for plane travelers. Two sets of washers and dryers was such a nice bonus. Wonderful modern cabin!!
We stayed here with our extended family to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary — 8 adults, 2 teens, and 5 kids — and it was perfect! The house was beautiful, spacious, and so well-equipped with thoughtful extras like oils, seasonings, s’more fixings, and more. We loved having a big backyard to play baseball, and everyone appreciated having their own master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bunk rooms were a hit with the kids! The location couldn’t have been better — a great home base for exploring the Tetons, Mesa Falls, both the west and back entrances to Yellowstone, Henry’s Fork, Harriman Park, and Big Springs.A couple of minor things to note for future guests: the bunk room gets quite sunny in the morning as there are no window coverings, so if you have early risers you might consider bringing some temporary coverings like tinfoil. The hot tub did get a bit dirty during our stay, but the hosts provided a non-chemical shock treatment that worked well. And bring bug spray!Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this home again. We wish we could have stayed longer, and my parents cried at the end. Thank you for making such a special family trip even more memorable!
Our family vacation of eight adults (four couples) was cozily met by this fully furnished and sparkling clean home away from all noise and distractions. There was more than enough space for our needs. Six bathrooms, a large kitchen table, and a second refrigerator would’ve comfortably accommodated a larger gathering with kids. The kitchen is thoroughly equipped with quality cookware and granite countertops. The back lawn is lushly maintained as we pranced across it barefoot playing cornhole (provided) and frisbee vignetted by a boundary of vibrant wildflowers. The outdoor fireplace warmed our feet as we sat around it sipping cocktails. The hot tub was very clean and sits 6-8 people. One of my personally favorite details was the unobstructed view of the Grand Tetons from our southeast-facing bedroom window. Whereas locations closer to either Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons are available, we relished in the serene privacy of our home. A half-mile walk down the road leads to a beautiful wide and shallow stream (just past the irrigation canal). While we were near the road, perhaps only 3 or 4 cars passed across the bridge in one hour’s time. Cell signal was good and the Wi-Fi was better. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
We had a great time at this house & in this area! The 4 king suites were perfect for us w my 2 brothers & their wives, our parents & the loft was huge for all the kids. Plenty of blankets & pillows. All the beds were very comfy. So nice having plenty of bathrooms. We used the backyard quite a bit too in the evenings - grilling, fire pit, hot tub & yard games. There was bear spray & coolers there for our use. Laundry room was awesome for our group of 15. There’s an extra fridge in the garage. Cave Falls & Mesa Falls are so close & totally worth a visit!! We saw a black bear & a moose on our drive to Cave Falls. Yellowstone is a very easy 1 hr drive to the west entrance. We went 3 different days. The Teton pass collapsed the day we tried to go to GTNP. So we rescheduled our boat tour for the next day & drove around the mountain to get there. It took twice as long, but was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL drive through Targhee National Forest & Palisades Reservoir & it was definitely worth it to see Jenny Lake & Jackson Hole! There’s a small, but decent grocery store like 15 min away & there’s a Walmart in Rexburg like 40 min away. We felt like this was a great home base for all the things we wanted to do!! This whole trip was an incredible experience!!!
We had a wonderful time staying rural Ashton, ID. The property is nestled equally between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park; both parks are approximately an 1-2 hours away depending on conditions and how far into the park you choose to venture. Also nearby is a Targhee's National Forest and Jackson Hole. My partner and I found ourselves with oodles of things to do in the area.
The cabin is in a serene setting. On a clear day, it's possible to see the peaks of the Teton mountain range from inside the cabin. It's in a rural setting nestled on the side of a hill with several neighbors near by, but still allows privacy on the other side of the property. The cabin is in phenomenal condition. It's well appointed with a complete kitchen, luxury appliances, and anything you could think you'd need to cook for a large family. Everything in the cabin - appliances, fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, tvs, garage door, and recreational games - were in working order and excellent condition. The WiFi worked well. In addition, the host provided a binder with details of local attractions and useful information about the cabin. She was expedient and proactive when messaging anticipating our needs and providing considerable information about the cabin - how to use its amenities, driving directions, checkin/checkout process. Overall, we had an excellent time staying at the cabin and highly recommend it. We will definitely book the cabin if we find ourselves in the area again.
We had a great time, the property was located equally between the two parks we were visiting. It’s very lovely, clean and functional! We would just recommend a couple boxes of Kleenex and a longer grill brush!!
