Lakeside Lodge In Between Geneva-on-the-Lake and the Historic Ashtabula Harbor

  • Three-year-old, custom Amish-built cabin set in a modern cabin community on the shores of Lake Erie. Beautiful lake views and sunsets, quiet peaceful and so much to do. Only a 5-minute drive to Geneva-on-the-Lake (GOLT)/Geneva, a 7-minute drive to historic Ashtabula Harbor, minutes from countless local wineries, Spire Institute, etc.

    While you will not have a lake view from the porch of the cabin, you will have access to a private beach within the cabin community.

    We also own another cabin within the cabin community. If you have a party larger than 4 people, ask us about the availability of the other cabin and we can assist you in booking both cabins!

Cute cottage off of Lake road. Quiet neighborhood, view of Lake Erie. Cottage was so cozy and clean. Can’t wait to stay again.

Relaxing Stay

Little cabin in Saybrook/Ashtabula

My sister and I had a girls trip to Lake Erie. Loved this small 2 bedroom cabin on lake. Very clean. Cute little neighborhood. Short walk to Lake. Very relaxing vacation. Short drive to several different beaches. Would definitely stay here again. Great hosts!!

Cozy cabin on the lake

Really enjoyed our short stay in this cozy cabin. All amenities, comfortable, location were spot on as described. The owners had very detailed instructions and communication was exceptional. All questions were responded to quickly and eager to help. We hope to return another time.

The cabin, itself, is wonderful. It’s very cute and clean. My spouse and friends enjoyed our stay. We were happy with it. There were some issues with the information on the website. When we originally booked the place, the website said pet-friend. Then, the night before we were supposed to travel there, I sent a link to the place on Vrbo to my friends, and they noticed the website said “no pets.” I was pretty sure it said pet-friendly when I booked it. But I left a message with the owners who were very gracious and quick to response. They said they would make an exception. However, after we arrived, I looked up the original booking in my email, and sure enough I was charged a pet fee, and the booking said 4 adults and 1 pet. I still have the emails. Maybe something changed from the time I booked, which was about one and a half months in advance, and the time of our trip. But it did cause some stress. We also discovered that the lake access was close when we arrived. The stairs leading to the lake were under construction; thus, there was no way to access the lake. We were disappointed because we were planning to use the lake. We still did, but we had to drive somewhere else with public access. Overall, we enjoyed our time. It’s a very nice cabin and the owner was responsive and friendly when I reached out to her. I don’t want this to be read as a bad review. It is not. I would still very much recommend staying there.

Cabin was very nice & we loved the location. Only a few comments I feel like mentioning.Photos are a bit deceiving with included photos of nearby beach and waterfront images amongst property and interior. Could easily trick someone into thinking the cabin is a waterfront property when it is in fact tucked back.Not a huge issue but shower does not stay hot for any length of time, making it hard for more than one person to have warm water without waiting. Television in bedroom needs updating. Only being able to access Youtube or Netflix to watch anything is a bit impractical.Noticed some of the linens/towels had spots of dirt & just not looking "guest ready".Overall the cabin was very nice. Loved the location & owners were very helpful when we reached out.

Place was clean and cozy. A day stuck inside due to mother nature storms just help us appreciate the cabin that much more. Contacting the host was easy and they were quick to answer all my questions and concerns. Water front less than 2 min walk, and beach just a very short drive down the road. Perfect for our couple retreat, to get some much needed rest and relaxation. Thank you so much to our hosts for a great few days get away.

Beautiful little cabin. Very clean. Host was quick to respond when we had a question. Very convenient location for our plans. The only thing I would change world be updating the tv in the bedroom, the current one is too old to stream any of the newer apps. I would definitely recommend this cabin!!
