Top Ashtabula Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was as expected for hotel with decent variety. Coffee was hot. A little noisy because it’s right next to rte 90. Easy to get onto highway. Parking was convenient. I would stay there again."

Cozy Lakeview Cabin, Pet Friendly, Near Wineries and Geneva-on-the-Lake

10/10 Excellent

"I love the community of cabins and it is located right on the water. I love the newly renovated sidewalk and steps to go sit on a bench on the water. The cabin has everything you need and very cozy. We will be back."

Shore Cliff Cottage

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay! Weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get to take as much advantage of the community deck as we would have liked but still had a few great moments! Definitely would recommend this for a nice weekend getaway. Host left the kindest note at check in which was a nice surprise."

Hampton Inn Ashtabula

10/10 Excellent

"I gave the hotel 5 stars because everything was amazing! I live in Florida and came to Ohio to be with my son, who is autistic and recently was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy stage 5. He was going to begin the process of getting a donor kidney. He is 33 and I also had his autistic brother, who is 19, with me. Mercedes happened to be the desk clerk when I checked in. There was a mishap with my check in dates and Mercedes handled it professionally. Because I was from out of town I wanted to have a place to hang with my kids and 3 grandkids and the pool was perfect! The kids were really loud and I was worried they were disturbing the lobby area. I apologized to Mercedes for them being loud and she said they couldn’t hear it with the double sets of doors. She gave the kids snacks and told me not to worry about the messes they made. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel was extremely clean and I had no issues with anything, which is typically not true with a hotel stay. She gave us a room that was away from other rooms, which was good because my boys can be loud. The boys loved the hot breakfast and so did I! I really had no complaints! I will make this my regular stay when I come to visit my kids. ❤️ it was a bit pricier than the other hotels by it, but it was definitely worth the extra money for an uncomplicated stay!!"

Lakeside Lodge In Between Geneva-on-the-Lake and the Historic Ashtabula Harbor

8/10 Good

"Decent little place. Every move upstairs ecohs loud to those sleeping in main bedroom. Shower very small and sprays water all over floor. Kitchen sink loose and windows difficult to lock. Blinds fall off bracket when try to close."

The Red Door Getaway- 4 Bedrooms Private Beach

10/10 Excellent

"The cottage was in perfect condition, everything was smooth and explained well. The proximity to beautiful Lake Erie is a major factor in renting this place, and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in NE-Ohio."
