Beautiful spacious cottage attached to 100 year old historic Appalachian home, less than one mile from the heart of downtown Asheville. Large bedroom with New Cal King Tuft & Needle bed, living room with fireplace, clawfoot bath tub in bathroom.

The spiral staircase is for decoration only. Everything is on first floor so don’t worry about having to climb stairs!

The Cottage was a very convenient location for all things Asheville. Easy access to hiking/biking trails. We tried a few of our host recommended restaurants and really enjoyed them. We loved the Christmas tour at the Biltmore. Highly recommend The Cottage as a location if you are visiting Asheville.

I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in North Asheville! The location was fantastic—quiet yet conveniently close to everything I needed. The space was perfect for me and my pup, with all the amenities to make us comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made the whole experience seamless. Adorable property and very dog friendly!The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very kind and responsive. Nice neighborhood and several good restaurants very close. Would have been walking distance if the weather was warm. The property was only about a 15 minute drive to the Biltmore. It was a pleasure to be in Asheville again after 20 years.

What an awesome place! It’s old. I’m guessing circa 1920-1930. But it’s been tastefully, artistically, and efficiently renovated. We were very comfortable. The hosts are wonderful. The neighborhood is dog-walkable and close to everything downtown. What a great City Asheville is; and, this place is a jewel in the box.

Easy-peasy, clean, quiet & nice people! Gentle welcome to my dog appreciated. Walking access to Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods. We enjoyed Pisgah Forest hikes - about 30 mins drive. Bamboo in the area gave my Viet Nam veteran hub some shivers! But, nothing to do with just right housing.
