Beautiful & simplistic cottage. I absolutely loved the property. I stayed in #4, that had a private fire pit and grill in the backyard adorned with string lights. I highly recommend for a cute little weekend getaway. My only con is that the wifi is kinda spotty so if you have a mobile hotspot bring it.

This property has a lot of character. It’s like your own home in the hills. The property manager was very friendly and personable. I felt like I was visiting with my sister. I plan to visit again. It’s location provides easy access to the areas around Asheville.

Stay here if you are a person who prefers the local cafe to a national chain. It is charming and has character. Clean, comfortable, private, lots of space. The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. Also exceptionally dog friendly. If you are a person who objects to wood floors that look their age or choses a hotel for its art work, go stay in a chain. This is the place we will come back to again and again.

Cozy, rustic, comfortable

King size bed was very comfortable, I slept like a baby even though the cottage is right next to the highway. Cozy and cute with all necessities in the kitchen and bathroom. It's rustic so the floor is not level, the shower stall is very small, I don't recommend it for larger people, my husband and I are were fine with it though. Plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. Very pet friendly, we would definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly, professional, and accommodating.

I liked that there was a front and back porch, the bed was comfy. However, the kitchen chairs were wobbly and the tub could use a grab bar and or texture strips on floor for non slip. We would have liked an outside porch light on back porch. Dan at the front desk was an excellent source of where to eat and very inviting to the facility.

My husband and I stayed at one of the cottages to celebrate our anniversary. It was a darlin little cabin. Our first morning there we used the kitchen and made our breakfast before we went out for the day. We went to a local grocery store and picked up a few things. It had everything we needed to make our breakfast. After spent the day at the Biltmore and then a few hours at the Cherokee Casino we were so happy the bed was so comfortable. The shower had great hot water pressure. The lady who checked us was so kind and sweet. She definitely made us feel very welcome and told us if we needed anything to contact her. We definitely recommend this diamond in the ruff!!

We have been staying here for 12 years! Amazing property, so much to do nearby, and 10 mins from downtown Asheville! The cottages are quaint and cozy, with everything you need. Our boys loved running around the backyard, using the swings, and hanging out on the porch! The owner and all the staff are what makes this place special too! Feels like home away from home. We will never stay anywhere else!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cabin has everything you could ask for and then some. I had a late check in (After midnight) and Rebecca called to make sure I knew where to go and how to get in, as well as handled payment so when I arrived all I had to do was collect my key on the way to my cabin. The area was by the highway so it was a little noisy but as someone who lives in the city, that didn’t bother me at all. Staff also included two packs of ear plugs and a sound machine, which muffled the sounds if needed and was a really thoughtful touch. I loved that there were a lot of restaurants and shops all within a 5-6 drive. They are also super close to a lot of trails and mountains if you’re into hiking. It was beyond comforting to come back and relax in such a cozy private space. The community was super quiet. I liked that there were many fire pits among the cabins. My cabin had a few spiders, including a big one in the kitchen sink, but hey, you’re in the woods so what can you expect! It was an overall 10/10 experience and I’m looking forward to booking my next trip here soon!

For my first trip to the Asheville area, the Pines Cottages was the warm welcome I didn't know I needed. The cabin was quaint and peaceful wirb outdoor space for everyone (pets too), and the friendly faces just made the experience even more the merrier!
