Enjoy a delightful stay held in nature at this stunning and bright 3BR home affectionately named “Casa Blanca", just 10 minutes from the center of Asheville! Feel the expansiveness of the lawn wrapped with privacy from the surrounding woods 1+ acre parcel.

The house is 1.6 miles from Woodfin Riverside Park, which is a picturesque setting for fishing, kayaking, riding bikes, or just relaxing! Enjoy coffee at High Five ... some of the best in town.

As well, you're 1.8 miles from Olivette Farms where you can pick up CSA goods from May - October. Too, you can enjoy a quiet stroll on the riverside or through the local labyrinth.

Bedrooms for 6, but can sleep up to 8.


THE SPACE

* Highlights include indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, front & back porch with plenty of seating, outdoor grille & basketball goal
* If you have a larger group you can request the lower level unit with your booking which includes (1 bedroom w/queen, day bed w/2 twins, full bath, living room, kitchenette and office area).


LIVING AREAS

Sip your coffee or hot tea as you curl up by the gas fireplace in the living area. Settle in and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV (w/Netflix, HBOMax, Amazon Prime) . Find plenty of seating with a plush sofa that rests 5 comfortably, and 2 extra wide green velvet armchairs.


KITCHEN & DINING

The chef in your group will appreciate the modern kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances where all you will need is the food to cook.

When it’s time to eat, gather at the dining room table with seating for up to 8 and an extra three at the bar.


BED & BATH

This one-story home sleeps up to 8 guests between the three bedrooms & extra comfortable air mattress that can be set up in the main living area.

Find quiet privacy in the zen master bedroom, furnished with a stylish-comfortable king memory foam bed. An en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and walk-in shower.

A second bedroom is outfitted with a full-size bed, while the third bedroom holds a queen bed and a desk to fit in work when you need be productive. An adjacent guest bathroom features a bathtub & shower.


OUTDOOR AREAS

Take in the nature sounds on the large front porch, furnished with a swing and traditional outdoor bench. In the evening, barbecue on the gas grill in the back deck. When the sun sets, circle around and watch the stars come out. Keep an eye out for the foxes, turkeys, deer, and other wildlife!

THE LOCATION

Easily explore both rural and urban destinations from this Blue Ridge sanctuary. Drive 1.5 miles to the Woodfin Riverside Park, 5 miles to visit a plethora of shops and dining options in downtown Asheville. Check out iconic locales like the Biltmore Estate (7.5 miles) and Folk Art Center (10.5 miles).

Discover an abundance of outdoor recreation in the area -- including biking, swimming, fishing, zip lining, rafting, tubing, kayaking, and skiing. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy convenient access to several scenic trails nearby, including the Olivette trails. As well, you are just 10 mins to the lovely town of Weaverville

Drive 20 miles north to explore the Pisgah National Forest, including Mt. Mitchell. Or travel an hour south to visit Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock. Chimney Rock (31 miles) and WNC Nature Center (11.5 miles) are also not to be missed.

If visiting in the winter, travel 30 miles north to hit the slopes at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. In the fall, take a drive on the iconic Blue Ridge Highway and witness the stunning changing colors.

Christmas Stay

Fantastic home. Even with -0 degree temperatures we had a great time. Great location, very comfortable. Huge yard, and we saw some deer in the backyard.
